Whooho, now I also appear on the list since I've finished a WU. I haven't installed it at work yet, I'll wait until next week when my new computer hopefully arrives.
Who is the anonymous? Does anyone know?
I have made three more people who I know run F@H, and I've mentioned my team number so it might be someone non-SYMian

I wonder why my display window says I have only finished 3 WU:s whereas the teampage says I have finished 6?
This week I'll hopefully get my new comp at the lab

Look at FAHlog.txt - that's where the truth lies
Sadly I can't really offer any more help as I'm using the console client

I've started as well ... dunno why, but hey .. so there.
Although my computer rarely idles when turned on, and eventhough it might not consume many CPU cycles, I'll likely not have it running when I do CPU/Memory heavy things, so dunno how much I can contribute with

Okay. I'm setting it up now. Hm. It seems it dosn't use more than 50% of my idle cpu. Anyone know how to make it use all of my idle resources? I'll see what I can discover.

Hmm - have finished one (at least - dunno what happened to the first WU I started?) but I can't seem to see it credited neither on personal nor team.
How long does it normally take before finishing (and sending I seem to be able to read) before it shows on statistics?

I have never noticed any delay at all between finishing a WU and it showing up on the team page. Are you sure you are finished with a WU and not a frame?

That's a fairly common occurance; I'm guessing you're running a Pentium 4 with hyperthreading.
here is a thread on the F@H forums that deals with the issue. Running two clients at the same time will probably yield an overall boost in speed in your case.

Ok, thanks. I'm running a P4 3,2 ghz with 1024mb of RAM so I though I was a bit of waste that it only used 50% of my CPU. Considering that my PC is left alone for hours at the time.

I have now tried to run Folding at my computer at the lab, and both with the graphical and the console version, it crashes my graphics immediately. My scrren go black, and when I reboot everything except the start screen is black.
Monitor:VP201S 20
Graphics card: Saphire Radeon X600 XT 256Mb
Any suggestions?
It's such a pity to let a P4 3.4 with 4G RAM stand unused for many hours every day...

That's strange; I'd update the drivers of the graphic card, but if that doesn't work I can't offer any ideas. If you're really serious about running F@H on that computer (and there's no reason why you shouldn't be
), you should probably ask for help at the
F@H forums. People there know more

The stupid console changes my boot priorities! First time it was changed to my memory stick(!), second time it was changed to my storage HD instead of the boot HD. Grrrrr. I have posted a question at their forum.

Is your computer on all the time? When you look at the task manager is F@H eating up all your resources? If the answer to both those questions is yes, you probably just have a really big Work Unit. When is its due time (you can check that in unitinfo.txt)?

The file says:
Current Work Unit
-----------------
Name: p1413_polyQ36x2 in water
Download time: November 27 11:06:31
Due time: February 5 11:06:31
Progress: 17% [|_________]
But the program says it's going to be ready by friday, but sometimes, when I just start up my computer, it says something like January.
Too answer your questions, my computer is running bout 6 hours a day, and it is using full CPU.
