In between 1000 and 5000 although, I've only really been into video games for 4-5 years. So that's like 700/year.

I sleep enough to be able to play games.
I work enough to get computer bits to play games on.
I play.
'Nuff said.

I have played computer games since i was 12 ( now 16).
I voted 10000 (since I played more than 8 hours every day for two years)
I have now reduced the playing to around 4 hours a day (which is still much)
And the countless times I have played computer games at my friends house...

let's see...
i'm twelve now...
i started playing when i was three...(sega genesis)
ever since then, video games became a GIGANTIC part of my life
so things lead on to things... (sega genises -> game boy [the original] -> sega saturn -> play station -> game boy color -> game boy advance -> play station 2 -> xbox)
first i started with about 3 hours of gameplay a week---
then it lead to 5 -- 7 -- 9 -- 11 -- 13 ----- all in all, now i play about 40 hours a week

well i guess you can call me a hardcore gamer
well so i guess you can say i have played about 10000+ hours in my lifetime

(i don't feel like doing the math

)

wow I'm obviously not the hardcore gamer you are, I just can't sit for about 3 or 4 hours a night and play, unless of course I have acquired a new game, then I spend upwards of 6 hours night untill i either get bored of it or I become good to the point where I don't even need to look at the screen to kickass
