As far as the "easiest and cheesiest" planet order.

First ... wookie world. Easy enough. Bounty hunter never game me much trouble, only had to reload once (and that was with my best ever character.. bad luck).

Second .. off to desert land. Sand people are easy at this point. <extra spoiler> Those one monsters that run around in groups of 4 .. nice leveling up. They show up everytime you transit and transit back</extra spoiler>.

Third.. Waterworld. Easy easy easy.

Next stop .. the one that's left. Evil academy. No problem at this point.

IMO .. "easiest way".

Erm.. sadly, I have not ventured to Manaan or Korriban as first planets.

I prefer to have Jolee with me most of the time. I so do enjoy talking to him, much more than the funnybot. I love slamming the old man... and the best part is that he replies in accordance to the disrespect I chose without getting DS pts!! Hahahaa....
His stories are are so weird. Jolee is also a full-consular.. meaning that at level 20, he has a very wide array of force powers. Interestingly, I counted his physical attributes, ... Jolee is like a semi-god-like character! So many +mods! So much more than my PC!

So.. i really like to have Jolee early in the game... and there is none earlier than going to Kashyyyk after Datooine.

So, erm... it seems that my choice of planet hopping is dependent rather solely on the characters in the story.
In the end, everything will be alright. If it is not alright, it is not the end.

Ditto. Jolee makes life much easier, whether you use him in direct combat or Jedi Support. I like leaving the last group of Mandalorians on Dantooine until I've at least gone to Kashyyk and picked him up. Usually by that time I've got three Jedi with Force Whirlwind, and watching those knuckleheads twirling in the air is sooo very satisfying.
