Do you mean as chosing from when creating character or as monsters?

Actually it is my experience that due to the mechanics depicted in most fantasy, then for each evil person there are several hero persons. (not counting evil guys unnamed henchmens of course).

Granted - I've not read much fantasny like Forgotten Realms, Dragon Lance and what not, but I'd expect from the perspective of the vast majority that there are more heros per dark villians.
It is an element of the fantasy worlds.

So if playing evil, I do expect the game to be harder, because good people/heros will try to stop you, and as well will other evils that are working for a similar or different goal

At least in my view and experience.

Exactly. All the good guys strive for the same goal but the evil guys don't wanna share the victory with each other.

You forgot one thing: evil guys can also unite against the heroes, and when those are defeated, then they will find out the true ruler
And what about giving character some special skills if evil? In most of the fantasy books I've read, the villain posses special kills, which he or she uses to conquer or destroy the world.

Okay, I'm bringing this thread back to life.
My own rpg project, Erendur, is living again. Now, i would ask if there is someone who has skills with making graphics here Gamebanshee? My own skills aren't so good, that's why I don't want to make all those graphics myself. You don't have to be über-tallented, graphics that I'm looking for are the same style as in, for example, NetHack. Map is made of squares, and I need graphics that those squares contain.
