Manowar's "Master of the wind" sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it!

So does a song taken from a film about the settlement of the Magyars in Hungary - it has such a wonderful tune, and not one time the lyrics made me cry (Altough there's nothing sad or tragic in it, it's about leaving your homeland and returning home. Wonderful.)

Another great one is Bruce ****inson's "Tears of the dragon" - it's effect has faded a little since I first heard it, but the part "Slowly I wake, slowly I rise..." still feels the same every time Same goes for the ending of "Gates of Urizen", too. (You might not expect it from a metal singer, but his voice is fantastic to my ears...)

i don't know what the song is called in english, but it's a military song in finland named(porilaisten marssi)it's played(in the army) whenever there's a special day for the military/country in finland, it can bring tears in my eyes simply because our generation owes so much to those that fought the russians... i heard it many times during my time in the army and it's simply so emotional..

I've got their best of album, but the songs I reallllly like are in the DUSK TILL DAWN THE BEST OF CAPERCAILLIE album, half of the songs are in gaelic, some in english, others purely instrumental. I have listened to it for almost 2 years every day. It's true, I listen to it before I go to bed. That's a pretty tall order, but hey!

Well, Ian Gillan and Roger Glover of Deep Purple went solo for a while in the mid 80s. During that time they made a solo-album which wasn't all that good, but it contained the rather complicated ditty "She took my breath away." with all the funny sub-weirdness only good song can make you do! So, that's my swooner, and I recommend it to the entire planet!
