Oh, it's more a matter of the vacant crown, what with you taking up the queen's place and all. :p

The Guide was done as a BBC radio show before it was ever released as a book.

But the first TV adaptation was dire, and I suspect that this one will be equally bad but in a fresh and contemporary way.

Martin Freeman's a brilliant choice for Ford, and Mos Def will also be a good Ford I believe (listen to his albums and you'll believe that he wouldn't know what a Ford Prefect was if it ran him over with spinning dub-plates) but Marvin looks like a $29 Japanese kids toy, and they've interpreted the brain-the-size-of-a-planet embarassingly literally.

Remember the Red Dwarf film pitch was turned down because it doesn't have a leading lady :rolleyes: ...Hollywood just can't do this kind of thing.

Don't get me started on americanised film adaptations of british comedy. I've been waiting for the Red Dwarf film for years which the american film industry keeps screwing up. I just have the horrible feeling that HGTTG will go the same way.
Donkeys are aliens!

Argos contains the 'Laminated book of dreams', to catch the 'Tears of joy'.

Thanks. :D I chose it (if you're asking :p ) because a while ago I had braids, and then I took them out, and with my lovely long hair, someone told me I looked like a My Little Pony. :rolleyes: It's not because I love My Little Ponies, although I used to have a large collection. :D I had the one which is my avatar, which is Majesty, the queen of the My Little Ponies. :D

@oozy No :p

@ik You're just jealous :p

Mmmm, Ted Danson as Lister, doesn't it seem ideal? :D My question is, why would you be waiting for the Red Dwarf film when you could buy the DVD boxsets? Duh. :D

You have it all wrong Georgi, you should wait for the film and order the box set.

I think I'll stick to the boxset and ignore the film, all the same. :p

I'll be back for breakfast! :D
