You want me to assign teams are you sure you want that? Btw i am still open to more people. 15 was just a starting limit there is no closing limit if anybody else wants to join like i am guessing Chanak and Magrus might want to join. Silur is another one and maybe some others. I will keep this open for 2 more days. Wednesday night at 12 am US EST is when it closes.

After taht i will assign places. I will also provide a background on the Democrats. The three extra characters which i may make NPCs if nobody wants them. I am still considering that idea.

I will answer all questions about the game here.

I will add in these 2 days information on society and culture. Economics and politics. We start next week Monday - the 21st.

The first job would be to elect a president and prime minister or even decide on what form of govt we shall have. This will also mean you guys will have to be pming each other and other groups to make or break alliances and form political blocks to become part of the ruling party.

The seats will be represented by the number of players. So if we have 15 players we have 15 seats for now. I may add a multipler later on.

We have to set a date for general elections if we decide to do that.

Draft a consitution. Define an economic policy and deal with alot of general stuff.

In addition to the 5 global events i will add 4 local events which need to be dealt with. An earthquake. A high profile murder or just high crime rates.

I hope that gives you guys some food for thought.

My problem is that it may take quite bit of work to be able to sympathise enough to role-play. Perhaps this is Fas' plot to convert us all to Islamic miltarism. :p

I much rather chose for myself ;) I propose you chose the teams just for those who request it.

LOL. It is nothing of the sort. Btw i am not defining how you guys play. I was originally think of taking a small island state in the pacific ocean, but then i remembered it was SYM and we need places to conquer, wars to conduct and general mayham to cause thus i chose that region specifically as we can cause alot of trouble there :D

Edit: I just realized. my views would be an outcast in any of those groups!!

BTW, way to pick a hot spot. Couldn't be mre turmoil. Well.. Maybe northern border of Iraq.

I want to be a Radical Communist instead.

A marxist type rather than a Stalinist.

So are we each going to have our own thread for each group? Or discuss our group here and post in the main thread?

This one game hardly constitues the creation of a new forum, especially considering it seems that it will be confined to two threads

@Blake: Techinically, a radically communist would be a Stalinist, as a Marxist would have the actual communist ideals that were the initial belief.

I must advise you that this project is going to require time, effort and thinking, so it would be wise to think this decision over. If you are willing to put these three factors into your replies, it's fine. If you think this is a three word game... Alas, I must disappoint you. It's too well-thought to be that simple. :(

You see, its all in the definition of Radical. In my opinion, Stalin was a Stalinist  . He wanted everyone dead that didn't believe the way he did and he was pretty much insane on top of that. He even wanted people dead that did believe the way he did because their was a hint of conspiring against him. It is probably pointless to summarize Marxists and Stalinists when you already know what they are.

I want to be a character that wants to bring about the changes that Marx said would happen on their own, without resorting to killing millions of my own countrymen.

Is that more clear or shall I elaborate more?
