i am not sure that your wisdom/charisma modifiers get added t the damage either. force storm is just 1d6 per level, not plus your wis/cha modifiers. that would be just crazy!!! it is already too powerful. thats why this time i am playing with hardcore mod on insane!!!!!!!!

For me, when I get it Force enligtenment will make the game so much more enjoyable, since my character needs force valour to get his attributes to even numbers and I use master speed all the time. Don't really need force aura because of my imense AC but it still makes it easier for me. Why would I want Force Crush, I don't need it, I'm planning on using kill against the big bosses anyway, two moves, dead. So, for me I'd much rather have the game made easier. Of course, I wouldn't mind having force crush, but I wouldn't switch it.

About force powers of opposite alignments being weaker. What, I'm sure that isn't true.
It doesn't say it in any guide, and Kreia says A LOT of things.

nuetral means you loose the specialized abilities of the prestige classes and don't even dare say they arn't good ebcause the manuel looks like they don't have many advantages...weaponmaster and maurader get more lightsaber focus and more dual wield focus and they may not make a huge difference but believe me they help...watchmen and assassins get sneak attack and some other stuff...unlike every oter class so this is a duh...for consulars goin master or lord you get corruption or party buffs and those are very good altho i think jedi master gets the better end of this

But you have to pick a side whats the point of it then if your going to be powerful you need the best of both worlds and to do that successfully you need to be neutral those force powers don't add much. Force grip on the other hand you can still get and be neutral.

Incorrect, to be POWERFULL, you have to go dark side, get Hanharr, then go light side and make a character like I have. All the bonuses, they make you GOD in the game. That is power, neutrality brings nothing but weakness.
HHAHAHAHAHA

Does it now. I wish we could face each other then you would see real power Hahahahaha + The dark side powers would win if it was just dark and light 1 on 1.

I'm sure but there is the matter of force power netraultiy brings more stregth than weakness if you know when and how to use dark or light side ablites and power even keria did that

HHAHAHAHAHA
my dark side character will be more powerful. i will have your force valour and master speed, you wont have my crush. crush wins one on one.

to claim you need to go dark side then go light side to become the most powerful is very stupid. you even admit that enlightment is nothing more than a spell of convinence. you could say 'to be more convinent go lightside' (although the alignment shift seems a hassel), but to say be be all powerful........at worst it is equal in terms of power since dark side gets all the buffs anyway.

Dont listen to this guy he is obviously blind to the weakness in his build.
To be POWERFUL you should just go dark side, and forget going back for the crappy convinence spell, just cast the two buffs seperately and have force crush. even if you hardly ever use it, it is better than not having it.

BTW force crush is superior to kill. sure you dont need it, but you sure as hell dont need the 'cast two forces you already have' crap. plus technically you are more powerful.

if this guy STILL argues on, and is dumb enough to claim that light side is MORE POWERFUL despite having no extra forces at all then i can't be bothered to point out the obvious again. light side is more convinent at most.

Light side bonus force= convinence for the lazy
Dark side bonus force= more powerful force

if you really cant be bothered to cast two buffs instead of one, well, you have to sacrifice that extra bit of power. HAHAHAHAHA

O.k though I really like Force Crush, it is the most cheating force power ever. If all you do is just force crush on any enemy, then you can win. Iremember just using the Power on Darth Nihilus and I won instataniously.

/me agrees with the above

It should be noted, however, that it is not completely unstoppable as Trayus was able to cast Death Fields inbetween saving vs. Crush. So watch out if you happen to have 10 HP left!

And Crush is not stronger than Kill, especially vs. people like Trayus with her insane HP.

hmmm cant they attack you while you cast kill? and what do you mean by 'inbetween saving vs. crush' do you mean the gap of time between your attacks with crush? maybe if they didnt save tehn it would be ok.
anyway, i guess every force has its use. better to have it and not need it very often than need it and not have it.

Dorian Gray:
HAhahahah. Did you actually think that my character only had weak little LS powers. I never said my powers were better. I have all the force powers. And I went lightside to get the +6 to wisdom and the personal crystal stats are better this way. No matter what character you have, my character has absolutely the gretest "to hit" (with force powers). Also he has the greatest defence agaginst force powers. MAn 29.5 modifier of wisdom,(without Force Valour). What could any of your characters cast on ME!? Huh?
I'd resist anything and attack you with my force powers. I don't just stick to lightsided powers I use them all. With all that wisdom my Force pool is practically eternal.
And its all thanks to going lightside, otherwise I would just have +3 wisdom and +50 fp, instead of +6 wisdom. Seriously, now who doesn't know what he's talking about.
So even if the bonuses for mastery were the same for each side, I would still pick lightside because of force enligtenment which makes it easier to play the game. Why would I want force crush? Your force crush would do nothing agaginst me.
Punk.

They can't attack if they fail their Kill save, but otherwise, it is like any other power, a successful save does not result in them being 'stunned' for a round.

It was not inbetween gaps, but somehow during (IIRC) the animation, which made it most unusual.
MAn 29.5 modifier of wisdom,(without Force Valour). What could any of your characters cast on ME!? Huh?
There is no such thing as a 29.5 modifier, it is 29. Not to mention that will doesn't account for all saves, ever heard of reflex/fortitude?? (or even just the unsaveable power Plague?).

Rofl, you know nothing if you think that Crush is inferior to Enlightnment (slight exaggeration here). Here is why Crush > you: EVEN if you save, you will take 1/2 damage AND miss your round, allowing a second casting of Crush and losing round AGAIN etc.

actually, it would. Force crush is unstoppable, you can only reduce the damage by half. And I could cast plague on you, it has a DC of 100. My Jedi Weaponmaster would whip your arse. I have no penalties to attack with my dual wield, my to hit is round 50 and attack of each weapon is...*checks* 30-48 damage each give or take a few for the off hand with all the upgrades I put on them.

1) If you want information on my character its on the thread "Consular Help"
2) 29.5, I put that in so that you know that master valour will boost it to an even 32.
3)I WILLL save force crush with my force resistance. Half damage, so what, (50 to 500)/2 =125. Owwwwww.
I don't think you will save against my guy. Go on, check out my character sheet, go on.

Just to clarify, Affliction does not have a DC of 100, only Plague (which also give -12 to your precious Wisdom). Of course a Guardian/WM/Maurauder with ~150+ damage a critical (approx. 50% of the time) still > ajdaha, but that's a different topic.

Do you even listen to a work people say? Who cares even if it does 1 damage. The fact that I can do it over and over again without you being able to do ANYTHING means Crush is rather important.

EDIT: Sorry about double post :( .

If I save, does it actually have the effect of throwing me?
If not then I just take the damage right? In which case I can bombard you with my Kills.
And anyway, this depends on you starting first, if my guy starts, you're dead, two kills.
PLus, I haven't played as a guardian/marauder/weapon master but I'm pretty sure that I won't let him come close to me. I'm a consular for god's sake.
