[QUOTE=kams]Sorry, if I annoy anyone, but would someone plz answer me
I now want to play this game as a bard and I really have no idea about this songs.

All bards get the Enhanced bard song special ability later in the game(if you have TOB installed). It will automatically replace any existing bard song, since it's apparantly superior than any other bard song. Considering this, the only disadvantage a blade has is that he has only 1/2 of lore value and 1/2 of pick pocket value.
On top of that he gets defensive and offensive spins.

That is correct. Also, 1/2 the normal percentage is still pretty good, and there are always Potion of Master Thievery and Indentify. On the other hand, not all wanna roleplay a Blade. I for one plays a True Bard at the moment, who prefers the Long Bow ( I added an extra prof point in Long Bows, but refused him the Single Weapon Style as compensation).

Life seems short considering how long you will be dead.

Can Bards use the long bow? I wasn't aware of this. I thought they could only use the short bow like thieves?

Yes, they can. They can use any weapon in the game if the weapon's specific requirements isn't something for a special class or he lack strenght. That's one of their strenghts, and it fits their description very well since they can use any weapon, but just become profienced in it, so generally, the bard knows a wide variety of weapons but can't use them anywhere near a fighter could.
