No, I haven't completed his quest. He only wants me to go take the amulet from the Weathermistress from the Church of Talos while she sleeps. Is that in the vicinity of the docks? Or do I need to use one of the district exits & then come back & then I'll meet up with Edwin & then I can get into Rayic's place & the estate next door????

okay now we're getting somewhere. first u need to do all of Mae'Var's quests. after u finish them he tells u to go upstairs to edwin. then edwin has a couple quests for u, one of which is killing rayic. after u do his quests he will ask to join your party. as for the temple of talos necklace, it is in the temple district, in the talos temple. wait until night then go inside and to your right. the wheathemistress will be sleeping. either use knock or pick the lock of the chest next 2 her bed. inside is the necklace. take it back 2 mae'var.

Alien Bob, When I go back to the shadow theives they are all hostile, Renal GBloodscalp ain't around and I cant get into the doors behind the bar at the Mae'Var guildhall. I had already assumed that I am requiring a restart...-Curdis

this quest is not essential to win the game so if you dont want edwin in your party and you're not a thief than you dont need to worry about restarting. ive never sided with bohdi before so i didnt know the sahdow thieves would get mad at you. sorry

Drakron I was tring to give the least information I could without ruining the game.On the chapter 3 thing can you not get Edwin to join once you are in chapter 3.

As for your books one way or another I will find some like them.

No gruntboy. My sis is working and I don't know if she will post much today and for me. I have been doing bg2 until the underdark. I started at Brynnlaw and just kept playing. btw I find the game much more boring. My main char is just unbeatable has nobody ever noticed how easy the game really is when you play a paladin. They just made the Holy Avenger too damn good. I just keep killing everything i see.
