You people are making me want to take my copy back from my friend and start clearing out town after town again. :o I miss that.

Yeah, but the Tevlanni tower is a little bit remote. I'll have to get Mark and Recall, the boots of blinding speed, a constant effect levitation item, and those propylon index thingeys before I can really travel fast. But once I do that, I imagine I'll become quite the item hoarder. :D I love collecting stuff in this game. Oh and it's always good to be strong, to carry a lot of weight (hehe) on my person.

I usually tend to play a Robin Hood type of character, and I generally don't attack unless first provoked ;)

So how do you reward the poor commoners?
Do you mean only the merchants, do you drop goodies in front of them or is there a mod that allows you to share common wealth?
If so, where can I find that mod?
Because it would be a nice gameplay improvement and definately stimulate me to share with commoners. ;)

well i played a very nice fellow, until i accidentally picked up a wrong item when i was about level 50, and they started yelling at me. at that time i was a little bored with the game, having beaten it a few times and ran out of any challenge except to build monumental pillow structures (you should try it, great fun) and suddenly these pathetic level 10 guards are all over me. I had to smite them. I had so much fun smiting them, i decided to smite some more. I smote left and right, above and below, in front and behind. My smiting spree was so outrageous that i had taken out all of the towns in the western seabord before i stopped. You can imagine the people were a bit less 'smitten' with their hero. I smote every town and built up quite an arsenal of pillows to build with, and then went to mournhold for more fun. WHen i was done smiting there i realzied i had killed all the npc's in every town (except for the guiards who they seem to recruit from the ranks of guars... or at least i assume so because there arent any intelligent creatures left). it made me feel much better about the game.

in summation im pretty sure i played a nice-guy-turned-homicidal-maniac. im not sure what morals that invloves... anybody have opinions on that? i mean if i plead insanity (lets face it it wasnt exactly sane of me) wouldnt that make me innocent? what a moral conundrum.

After all you've done for them and they do this for a petty theft?
I'd say you were being gentle on them. :D
