The problem is that I have made changes to the forum templates over the years and they have always worked with every upgrade... until this one. Many other forum administrators have complained about the same problems we're having here and they're being told by the vBulletin creators to revert their templates to the default style and recreate their layout from scratch.

Luckily, I was already working on a new layout for the forums, so many of these errors (if not all) will be corrected when it gets rolled out. I'm hoping to have the new skin up and running within the next couple of weeks, so please be patient until then. Thanks!

I'm having problems with Javascript errors on my other PC which runs WinXP Svc Pack 2 and IE 6.

I can't do searches. Every page loads with Javascript error message in the bottom left hand corner.

They all seem to say the same thing:
Line 1520
Char: 4
Error: "null" is null or not an object
Code: 0

I get pretty much the same thing. I don't know if the new skin will iron out problems like these though... however, it has been a long time since I have taken any classes in web design. I rather liked working with HTML and Java though. :)

The one I get is somewhat shorter, but undoubtedly the same.

A runtime error has occurred.
Do you wish to debug?

Line:1519
Error: 'Null' is null or not an object.

Also,

A runtime error has occurred.
Do you wish to debug?

Line: 160
Error: Expected ';'

The search is just a problem which will most likely be fixed in the change, but what I have seen is the writing not appearing when I type, the forum search does not work, nor do the drop downs in member search or under the names of members in threads.

I was just wondering, since my knowledge is now somewhat limited; will this be fixed? And if not, is it possible that we could repair the problem on our computer, if it is just some sort of compatability issue, or something along those lines? Sorry, I do not know the words I am looking for...

The problem lies with template changes that were made in version 3.5.0 of vBulletin. The new skin has been designed to take advantage of version 3.5.0 from the beginning, so these errors will be resolved. The layout should be ready this week, so please be patient for a couple more days.

This can also be caused by Opera, but I have sometimes difficulties in opening threads. I click the name of thread, but nothing happens.
Same goes with the "Forum Jump" -feature, sometimes it just doesn't take my selections...

But again, this may be caused by Opera

Yeah - dunno what went wrong for me here, I didn't see the last few posts in the thread for some reason. :o

Anyways:
LordNihilus21, next time use the Edit button to edit your post, instead of posting 3 times in a row in the same thread within 5 minutes.
