Are you amking fun of my spelling i was born in florida and have lived in the south all my life, i jsut dont have good spelling when i start typing, that and i THINK i have good spelling when writing but i cnat read my handwriting so....
i havent talked with cousinin a while ill have to call him one of these days if i can find a family directory somewhere... the name mybe hade an 'e' or an 'a' maybe both as one of the letters in it i cant help you farther than that... i said all i know in my first post.
I am sorry if you have taken offence. That was not my intent. It is just that so many people here are from other countries, and that in many of these countries, English is not a first language. sometimesa, popular books in some countries never get reproduced anywhere else.
I grew up speaking two languages. My own typing is actually not up to spec, except if I type slower than usual; as I am now. Also, my computer, even through layers of protection, is old, and is therefore breaking down.
I have no problem with your typing abilities. I just wanted to know what book you were speaking of. Typically, if it sounds interesting, I will go out to chapters and get it. I am actually rather famous for my collection of books.
one series- composed by one author contains 100+ books!?
and.... why are they called "dragonlance" if some have no dragons? and do they all relate to one story, or seperate ones?
It is an ongoing story made by multiple authors, although some, such as Weiss, are above the others.
Dragonlance was more made in relation to a mystical weapon in which humans arm themselves with to go against dragons in battle. Anything else has difficulties breaching their scales. Anyways, the war of the lance, among others, had great involvement with these weapons, and problems with dragons pop up frequently.
I haven't actually read the majority of the work, myself. Just the stuff that seems to be popular or looks good.

Personally, I think that that series just dragged on for a while. I stopped reading a while ago, as you could've guessed... the series seriously became to much of a dent in the wallet.

I love the inherirance trilogy! that's why i started this thread! to find out similar books to that series! i would also like to know what is a probable release date. i guess maybe 2006-2007? i dunno, depends on how hard Paolini works on it. i for one am anticipating this book, and hope that it is as good (hopefully better!) than the first two.

IMO, it's very good, especially the twist at the end.
I recommend FR books too. There's lots of good authors aand different series. Recently there are series' based on character types that are quite good- e.g. The Rogues, The Priests and now The Fighters. Some of the big FR events book series' are very good like the Return of the Archwizards series (one of my favourite sets), anything in FR by Richard Baker is good. There are also a few standalone series such as The Cities, also good.
Another series you might like is the Farseer Trilogy (look up Assassin's Apprentice), that's not FR but seems good so far.

they're extremely good books. if this guy can write like this at what? like 15? then he's got a very good career ahead of him. i hope that he will continue to write books such as this series in the future.

Well, I hear Asimov started real young, too, and look where he is in the history of literary works? I started pretty young, too, with writing, but then I wrote pretty bad stuff, and I never was published.

Yeah im planning on starting young ( i am still young enough to have a laugh at the expense of those mush older and less wise than myself, and yet old enough to realize i should have started sooner) mainly novels and screenplays, possibly looking at another less viewed side of the jobs in the gaming industry and writing the stories that fuel the games that all love. Ive got good ideas so do mis amigos and we discuss evry once in while (if we got together and wrote a screenplay it wouol be something like Airplane meets star wars, or monty pytthon meets the brady bunch...) once i get unlazy enough to sit down and brainstorm, write down/type up thoughts firmulate them into a sequence and then write in the details you may hear from me as a famous author, or i may nvr get published; when it comes to things i am passionate about i either am met with great success or miserable failure.

I started writing at 10 when my dad got me my first computer. Boy, I wrote a crappy story--one of those cheesy murder-mysteries--and the story itself wasn't well-planned out, but I had this whole theme behind it. And I've always laughed at those less wise than myself, old or young.
I go for novels myself, but I've thought about games. I was tempted to write my own version of how I thought Knights of the Old Republic III would go, but I lost interest. Writing stories for games--especially an RPG like Knights of the Old Republic--isn't exactly easy. You have to come up with all kinds of responses for every conversation, and there are several nuances in the storyline as you go from initiate to Jedi or Sith.
