Not to sound like too much of an idiot but... what do we roll?

As in, d20? I have a feeling it is that, so I'll put that down incase:

1d20+0
8+0 = 8

If it's not, discard and I'll edit when you let me know. Thanks :) .

EDIT: In that case, 8 + 1 = 9 is mine. Thanks Rav.

Halgrath, Sesshomaru and Kazar hear heavy steps reaching the group.
Now, only Yepi, Slade and darkwolf posts how they react to the sound, since they were the only ones who heard it.

Thinking, well it could have been worse, Halgrath began to ease a bit as the two men lead him to Sh'rarn, who is clearly the one this group look up to for their lead. Hope is certainly there for Halgrath, buoyed by the last statement to possibly be a part of this group...and Halgrath isn't about to say no to that...

Sh'rarn, the paladin of the Red Knight, is certainly an imposing figure as Halgrath try to face up to him. Looking at Halgrath from top to bottom, it wasn't possible to guess what he sees in the cleric. Most of the patrons in the tavern seems oblivious to Halgrath and this group...merrily going around their own agenda.
Halgrath, Sesshomaru and Kazar hear heavy steps reaching the group.
While Halgrath's mind is running with thoughts on what he too should say, at least in response...then something distracted him. Someone, or something seems to be approaching them from behind. Insticntively, Halgrath turned to the direction he heard the heavy steps coming from.

"Er......"

"Is it just the ears of an old dwarf or can somone else hear that?" sounds slowly creeped through the closed window towards his ears, getting louder and louder. He had began to panick

"somone approaches!" He drew his Axe and stood up.

"we should be ready just in case..."

Sesshomaru could sense a little fear in Kazar, maybe not that he was scared but disturbed to find out what it what or who it was." It seems today we are full of surprises, I guess we have our work cut out for us" Sesshomaru then walked right in front of Kazar keeping Kazar behind him, Sesshomaru thought he should be the first to attack if needed, if for any reason he went down Kazar could pop out right behind him with a sneak attack." Dont worry Kazar I doubt anyone would try anything with all of us here, but let us not keep our guard down anyway"

You see four dwarves to aproach your table...
One of them speaks, pointing Sterwick...
"Ye, how dare ye still be here?! Didn't our king tell ye to get away from this island immediatly? Ye will be sorry that ye didn't obey my king!"

Sterwick looks dwarves confused.
"Who are you, and what are you talking about?"

Dwarf: "So, ye pretend to not know me? Fine. Brothers, kill him!!"

Looking around to see wht the ruckus was, he noticed that both Sess and Kron had their weapons drawn and pointed towards someone he didn't recognise albeit seemed vaguely familiar.
"Sh'rarn, it seems that we have a possible candidate for our group, what do you think?"
Hmm...looking at the stanger's attire, it seemed he may be a cleric and nor did he seem an evil one.
Turning to the stranger he said, "You wish to join us, stranger? You should tell us a little more about yourself".

Just then the dwarves arrived and spoke...

"WAIT! What has this man done to deserve death at your hands?! He's already said that he has lot much of his memory, so it is possible that he really does not remember you or your king. And even if he does remember, what has he done that is so heinous that he not even be allowed to give himself up?"

Great. Another fight. Kron rolled out of the way and under a nearby table. The one bad thing about being a mage is that you never stood a chance head on. As such, Kron was used to moving out of the way of battle. "If you wish to join our party, you had better be ready to help us out if this turns into a fight." Kron whispered all that to the cleric, before resuming his safe haven.

"THERE WILL BE NO BLOOD SHED TONIGHT!" shouted Kazar "Ye of my kin, what has this man done? surely this can be resolved in a more diplomatic way?" He stepped infront of Sterwick and said "If you decide to take him, I aint going down without a fight" with that he brandished his axe, and stood there eyes fixed on the 4 dirty dwarves. He would be ready to bring his axe round and destroy them if this turned into a brawl
"You wish to join us, stranger? You should tell us a little more about yourself".
Just as Halgrath was about to speak about himself, the whole attention is suddenly focussed on the four new dwarves approaching the group. Their hostile reaction makes Halgrath feel uneasy...
"If you wish to join our party, you had better be ready to help us out if this turns into a fight".
Halgrath turns at him and slowly gives a reassurring nod. Turning back he sees the only dwarf in the group has already turned to address his strange kin. Sh'rarn the paladin and another member of the party who seems like a capable fighter himself too has positioned themselves facing the four dwarves...

Halgrath too poised himself for a fight. Although he never did learned the warrior's craft, he did had some limited weapon training from his father and instructors at the Lathander Order. Instictly, his right hand began clucthing the light mace at his side...

"I see they're after our new friend and here I thought you owed them money Kazar, well they'll have to get through us first, Sterwick get behind us!"Sesshomaru positions himself into an offensive stance, while doing this he noticed the other stranger that had appeared right after Sterwick, that he was positioning himself to fight with his mace." you there, have you had combat experience before?"
"you there, have you had combat experience before?"
"Well, I am surely nowhere near your prowess dear warrior....but nevertheless my blade and my faith will aid you to protect this man Sterwick. Rest assure that i too will not let harm come to him" Halgrath replies as he moved into an defensive stance...

Now they waits who will make the first move...

Kazar roared an almighty roar, and stepped forwards bringing his axe down feebly towards the agressors, it missed completely, and he took a step back, preparing to unleash another reign of attack on the dwarfs, he waited the few seconds to see what the rest of the group had decided to do.

((1d20+0
1+0 = 1))

Okay, since this was automatic miss, I won't ask you to remove that part where you describe what happens. It is, after all, my responsibility ;)

So, basically, you only made one attack attempt, and missed.

Now, everybody post their initatives and actions for each round!
And plese, only what you are trying to do, not the result ;)

EDIT:
when posting, put your attack and damage rolls for5 rounds, so that we can have things going a bit faster.
Also, include at the end of the post also a list of which order you would like to attack/cast spell/do something against.
ie, in this fight the order could be like: Dwarf 1, Dwarf 3, Dwarf 4, Dwarf 2 (this is just an example).
So if your original target dies before you have made action against it, I can just select next from the list as a target.
