10 best video games ever!

Some of my favorite games:

Final Fantasy 1- beats all other FF games for me personally because it was my first experience with a game of that type.

Metroid- Loved the original game.

Medeival: Total War- My favorite title from my favorite series of this genre

Civ 2- This one damn near killed me from sleep deprivation

Baldur's Gate 2- One of my favorite games ever.

Planescape: Torment- Amazing game, is on of the top two RPGs I've ever played along with BG2

God of War- This game got it right. Good mix of puzzles, action, and a protagonist character that is in no way going to be confused with a nice guy. The story is great, and definatly not either dumbed down or sugared up. It's a tale of a nasty man and the gameplay and story reflect that. Most fun I've had on a console game in well over a decade.

KotOR- Basically, good game that gets a boost because I love Star Wars.

Metal Gear - The first game was a major mark in my gaming life.

Madden 2003- I'm a big football fan, and this was the last Madden game where I can remember having any level of challenge at all unless you tweaked the settings to death. Yes, it got easy as you got used to the game, but the last few editions have been easy out of the box, esp last years edition.
