your source confirmed it?

Put it this way: I have two separate confirmations from within Bioware and Black Isle Studios that the code's ready for review. Typically, that means it's gold, though I can remember one nasty occasion where a rep told me a product was gold, and it was still being changed after I received it.

This is not from Interplay's PR department, however.

Finally, it's official, from the PR folks at Interplay, and I quote:

"It went gold."

See Fable, I told you this time was GOLD - it just had that feeling. I'm glad you were able to confirm it. How long do you think before they SHIP it?

Heh, @Drezden, you just let your game lust lead your intuition. But I've seen things like this drag out for months, and everytime there's a rumor, somebody shouts "IT'S GOLD!" and that only makes it worse when the thing doesn't pan out.

I would give it a week, maybe much less. I know Interplay is prepared for this.

Don't know if this is confirmed or not, but I went to BB and they say it should be here the 16th or so.

In some simple words.
Interplay have yet to make a official anocement but their site states that it have Gone Gold.

The press kit of Throne of Bhaal is still being done by Interplay PR.

That is why no official comment can be made at this point by anyone from BioWare or Interplay.

But that does not mean that Throne of Bhaal have not gone gold, since Interplay site say that it have.

I do not belive that a mistake like can be made, it would bring negative publicity to Interplay (and a buch of really anoyed player to try to burn down Interplay offices ).

So trust Fable on this one, he knows.

I have seen a post from another board, it should be shipped to retailers by the 22 of June, week and 1 day from now. I really don't know if this is true or not.

If the news are true, we don't have long to wait! YES!

Now we sit back and play the waiting game... Wait a second, we've been playing the waiting game for months already! The waiting game sucks! I want to play ToB instead! NOW NOW NOW!!! (I'm still hoping my original estimate of the 18 is accurate)

Besides, the CD is hardly ever seen, most of its time its either in the Case or the CD-Rom
