Ok I'll try to on the subject without distracting you all to much so as to make you think I am a nut or something.
Hoe do you all like Peanut butter to eat, like what would you serve it with and how. Maybe bannana and peanut butter sandwich or marshmellow cream or chocolate or variable jellies.
This is the Peanut butter thread expansion pack. This might get sticky.
I'm a fan of the PeanutButter-Jelly Sandwich myself: a classic.

I look at SYM for the first time in over a week, and saw the titles currently on the front page. I honestly thought I had accidentally gone back to 2002 or something.
DW, the health geek thing... you mean, crunchy granola's?
Won't eat peanut butter. Horrible stuff. You can't make me. I'm scottish. We're exempt
We are? Why wasn't I informed?

Second generation ex-pats are not covered. It would be cruel. You have to move on and assimilate in the host culture; eating their horrible food is part of that. I'm sorry, but it is for your own good in the long run. Separate development has a bad name

I feel as though all the Scottish-Canadians have been left in the cold. Especially since it was the scottish that were responsible for the settling of Calgary, Lethbridge, and a great many forts and the like between hither and yon.

It was interesting. Also... very, very moist.
I was considering making a new thread out of sadistic pleasure, but decided not to. It's a failing.
Oh yes, and the answer to my question was 'yes'.
I'm still in a state of euphoria!

You never could get that voice right. You a wee brawn maid' fro' the north, ye cannot speak formerly. Too much of an accent.
Yep, asked while we were looking at the silty bottom of a pond with some freshwater shellfish in them. Picked it up, and asked her if it was a keeper. She was shocked and said yes after I got down on the sandbar...
I have been informed I am now a Monkey Love-Slave.

Ok, I might be coorse. But calling me a pig's head pate is a little extreme, no?

Salted and creamy.
My secret love, which I haven't had in over five years, are sandwiches made from peanut butter and marshmallow fluff.

Delicious salted creamy peanut butter on my Eggo Waffles with maple syrup.
My uncle however likes that all natural peanut butter on his cereal. Go figure!

Ah finally a thread to celebrate the glory of peanut butter. That stuff is so good, it's easy, cheap and TASTY! I suppose I like it salted and crunchy but I don't really know about the difference between salted and unsalted, maybe that's something we don't have around here.

I think the salted or not issue is related to the type you buy. The more commonly known brands contain salt by default, as well as sugar and numerous other ingredients.
Being the food purist I am
o
) ... the variety we buy only contains peanuts, peanut oil and salt (if you choose that type).
But, I suppose since it is a "natural" brand, they are more focused on issues like whether or not their products contain salt, since some people have dietary concerns.
How can you tell I live on the West Coast of North America?

Hippy's can be fun, but I do have to agree. You're no hippy. I know hippies, and you don't fit as one.
Peanut butter and waffles with syrup is great! Rachel introduced me to that. It is horrid for you, but oh so good.
@Tony and Gwally, Fluffernutter sandwiches are bomb. You just can't beat them! Cheap, easy to make, and delicious. What's not to love?

@Mag,
thank you for that !
Mmm... I like blending peanut butter with honey too... and then spreading it on apple slices (preferably a really tart, crisp variety)
I should try maple syrup some time as well

Only you could turn a perfectly innocent thread about peanut butter into something suggestive. That is even beyond the scope of my abilities
That sounds... messy.
Though, I'm *not* asking for details
