definatly the first dungeon, yawwwwnnn, i think i know the whole of opening off by heart.

"ahh the child of baahl has owoken, it is time for more .... experiments, the pain should only be passing, you should survive the process. Interesting you show much untapped power"

"more intruders have entered the complex master"

"they act sooner than we anticipated, not matter they will only prove a slight delay"

bla bla bla bla bla bla bla

its boring and i hate it!!! it is worth doing it all properly to get the xp but i think i could do it blind folded.

The starting dungeon is not all that special but once you know it well enough it actually works as a good indication as to the positives and negatives of a particular kit/class etc. I have often gotten part way through and decided that the particular kit/class stats (etc.) were just not working for me.

My pet hate is the Sundessar/Elf city end game stuff. Irenecus is just too far inside a city which is full of annoying elves who are snotty and unhelpful. G I V E M E A B R E A K ! ! ! I really want to just bypass the whinging elves and splash Irenicus. Burning the elven city to the ground on the way out would be nice too. - Curdis

First dungeon sucks.

I've got a multiplayer save just before exiting the dungeon. When I start a new party I just plug the characters in there. You don't miss on much XP either, because you get the big chunk as soon as you exit. Image

@Aegnor- with multi-player, you can dump your protagonist and put in a new one, you can dump Yoshimo and your protagonist, or dump em' all and put in your own. Pretty easy. It works just like IWD. BTW, it might be smarter to do as Osiris says and save before exit so you get the experience bonus, but I hate sitting thru the movies.

@Rail - thanks that'll save me a lot of grief if I decide to play a third time (actually I've already got my monk in the dungeon, set to build an evil party. But who knows, maybe I'll change my mind and take a Blade or Kensai...)

Looks like we all agree on the first dungeon being boring, mainly 'cuz we've all done it a half dozen times.

What about Trademeet? Anyone else find that lame? The troll mound was a good fight and so was the Rakshasa, but the grove itself...blah.

Actually, the whole Cernd thing (grove and deadbeat dad stuff) is disappointing. Think about it - if it were the main story for a book they'd never find a publisher.

I hated the Planar Sphere. Too much of going from one end to the other. The only cool thing I liked about it was fighting the demons.

Since everyone hates the first dungeon (i find it little bit boring but that's all) i hate the whole: we must find imoen, and rescue her from the cowled wizard's crap. Sheesh you try to get her back to the party and when you finally get her back, she's lower than any of my other party members. Image that's the frustrating part of the game... Chase for Imoen get's my vote.

The first dungeon is the worst, but going to hell via the Planular Sphere is OK, sleeping there's better (Is it Hell, or the Abyss/Baator etc).
Almost as good as when I made my female paladin sleep with a pro for 24hrs straight.
