I have never seen "Protection from evil 10' radius" on sale in any store or temple, but I will not claim that I have looked at every one by any means. Likewise, I have never seen a scroll of this spell available as loot.

Jaheira, unfortunately, will never have access to this spell. Only Viconia, Anomen, and Aerie will ever have it. Cernd cannot get it, either.

But a Paladin can have this spell once he/she reaches level 15. Image

There are a few cleric spells available at temples.

i.e. Cure Lt Wounds, Restoration, Cure Disease, etc.

I have never seen a Protection from Evil 10' Rad. scroll in the game. I don't believe there are any. I could be wrong, but the only place you could buy one is at a temple. Go to the temple district and check all three temples. Tell us if you find one. I don't think you will, though. If not, well, just buck up and fight the pit fiends like the rest of us manly men. @Weasel- if they don't want a god-fearing cleric, how do you think they'll feel about a paladin?

1. The temple scrolls: Except Restoration, these scrolls are GREEN scrolls, i.e., usable by anyone from the quick slot and not writable in spellbooks.
2. A green Protection from Evil does not exist. Sorry.
3. Cleric scrolls do not exist in BG2. Exceptions: Restoration (temples) and Cure Serious Wounds (Windspear Hills, for example). These "cleric scrolls" can be used by a cleric or a druid (and, perhaps, by a ranger and a paladin) from a quick slot. They cannot be written into a spellbook.
Therefore, you MUST have a cleric in your party if you want Protection from Evil 10'. The cleric gets the spell automatically when he gains access to the corresponing spell level. There is NO OTHER WAY of gaining the spell.
The spell is important: forget Cacofiend, Summon Fiend and Gate if you cannot cast Protection from Evil.
Attemts to find the spell are futile.

Sure you can cast em. Just not in combat. You need to cast them at the edge of your vision, then back off before the demon gates in. But then you don't get to see the battle. Image

Well I don't know what waverly and radek were talking about, there are no protection from evil 10' radious scrolls to be had apparently. I'll have to make do with individual protect spells.

My party will welcome any paladins into it. Just make sure not to rest....

I was talking about scrolls in general, which as I said can be bought and learned. As for your protection spell....

You'll need more than that low level spell, vulnerable one....

*the foul dwimmerlaik casts Warding Whip and removes all spell protections from waverly, and goes off to create new pointless thread, something along the lines of "who likes Aerie?"*
