I've decided that I'm going to switch between 3 main hand weapons and keep the Equalizer as my off-hand weapon all the time. Depending on the situation, I'll switch between Blackrazor, The Equalizer, and the Axe of the Unyielding. Being the only dual wielder in my party, and also being the only one that uses longswords, katanas and axes, I have a wide selection of most of the best weapons in the game. The problem is choosing which ones are best. The only thing that doesn't change is my off-hand weapon. It always stays the Equalizer because of the Immunities to charm and confusion(invaluable) and the attack bonus' added to the main hand.

Did I miss something, or did you just say that you were going to use the equaliser as off-hand all the time, and as main hand some of the time? Or did you mean the Answerer mayhap?

You have a point and all, but there are so many occasions when you have no chance of being charmed or confused, the enemies are of variable alignments and the equaliser is less use than almost any good sword.

You'll be surprised how many alignment errors there are, lawful evil paladins etc - that equilizer is still going to hand their heads on a platter though. A charm and confusion a fighter and he's out of the fight - protect thy self !
