I'd imagine that replacing the files with other music files, while giving them the name of the original files could work. Didn't try though.
I had the same thought, but I haven't tried it yet. I've been looking at other things. Maps, models, scripts, just poking around figuring out how bits and pieces of the game work. It's been pretty interesting.
Anyway, I'll try the music thing at some point. Or maybe I'll just wait for the lovely Miss Velour to tell us how it goes when she tries it.

it works kittens. i went into the folder and opened up the 'liscensed' folder, and put in a song and renamed it to 'vesuvius', putting the real one on the desktop, then i went into the hollywood music folder, into the 'asp-hole' folder and moved that song onto the desktop, put in the same song i put in as vesuvious, but here its called 'asp_hole' coz it just is. so i closed the folders, opened up the game, went into vesuvius and my music was playing.
so if you wanna change music, i suggest both doing it in the liscenced folder aswell as its town music folder, just to be sure
enjoy :mischief:
