Well finally got that full glass set of armor, well several actually ... and enchanted my boots and what else, something, for feather, 40+ points each. Sweet. I can now carry over 500 and I need every single one of it, I keep encountering better and better gear but can't ever lug it all back. This should help.

That burden bow doesn't do a damn thing, I shoot 15 arrows in monsters and regular people but nothing happens to them. What a waste, I could have put that sigil on armor and get 100pt feather. Question, are there any other sigils that will give me feather? or is that one I used the only one?
I found some daedric armor for the first time, aparently it's the best armor in the game. I enchanted the cuirass with 50% resist disease, so that's nice. I have two unused sigils but I don't know if I want to use them yet. I'm waiting to see if I either find a better sigil or a good weapon/armor to put it on. One sigil does fortify health 30pt, that might be usefully unless I find something that does fortify health 100pts or something.

well how about this one, finally got a full set of daederic armour and enchanted the cuirass, greaves, gloves, 2 rings and an amulet all with 20% chameleon (yep thats right, a total of 120%).
I dont wear it anymore though as its a wee bit overpowered, when in sneek i can stand right in front of an opponent and repeatedly sneak attack them. i ended up going up 1 level of sneak just by finding staionary gaurds and nudging them out of position. so far ive been up against necromancers, bandits, mercenaries, goblin warlords and goblin shamens, i may venture onto harder creatures tommorrow.
its also a pain remembering if you have you weapon s out as you are 100% invisible in 3rd person view

Well I have something like 5 or 6 sets of glass armor just so that I can enchant away and then in the end choose the victory combination. It's good being a pack rat
Oh and I am yet to encounter this feather sigil stone so it is possible it is only one. I have quite a few, and not one that I actually wish to use
*sigh*

I have 3 sigil right now but I don't really know what to do with them. I had some the did fire damage or fire resist but I don't care for those. So, I enchant an item and sell it for big bucks.
I do however had a sigil that does soul trap so I might use that after finding the right weapon.
Question, one sigil I have says turn undead up to level 25 on strike. What the heck does that mean?

I have a question:
Can you enchant with any spell effect or only those few listed? I originally thought that you could enchant with any spell effect that you had in your list of spells, however this does not appear to be true as the two spells I wished to enchant on my amulet didnt show up in the list of possible effects. (The effects were invisibility and restore health) any Ideas, am I completely wrong?

Some effects can't be used to enchant items, such as Invisibility, Restore Health, Paralyze, ... because Bethsoft felt they would imbalance the game. However, you can download mods which make those effects available for enchanting.

You've got it in that little booklet you got:
Turn undead - temporarily decreases an undead creature's confidence (ie its willingness to fight an attacker). The effects magnitude is the value of the decrease in confidence.

You cannot enchant with invisibility unless you download a mod for it.
My Items:
I have enchanted almost all of my glass armor, shield and boots are all that I havent gotten too, with shield, with all my armor broken I have an AR of around 60. With my armor all fully repaired, I have an AR of 85. Only downside is getting it repaired, I am slowly working my way to a Journeyman of armorer so I can repair my own enchanted Items, but until then it costs me around 8k gp to get my gear repaired when its health drops below twenty.
Tip for mages guild members:
Enchant a blade with silence, works wonders on the final fight and any low level necroes giving you problems.

As long as you have the ability to cast a certain spell, you can also enchant/ make spells with it.

I enchanted all of my armor and my weapons. I named them World of Warcraft style.
There was:
Sword of Electric Wrath [20pts Electric Damage on Hit] (Deadra Longsword, 31 Attack)(Made)
Weightless Boots [Feather 75pts] (Dwarven Boots, 7 Defense)(Made)
Helmet of Defense [20% Shield] (Dwarven Helmate, 7 Defense)(Made)
Gloves of Intellect [+45 Intellect] (Dwarven Gloves, 7 Defense)(Made)
Grieves of Magicka [+60 Magicka] (Dwarven Greives, 9 Defense)(Made)
Curiuss of Valor [+5 Endurance, +5 Strength] (Dwarven Curiass, 13 Defense)(Found)

How did you enchant something to give you +45 Intelligence? I am missing something.

I never used a sigil stone to enchant anything, but once I got into the mages guild I went enchant crazy.
I made a deadric sword that does 15 fire damage, 15 cold dameage, and 15 shock damage, + 1 second of soultrap. Now that I have my blade to master and my strength to 90, I do like 75 points of damage per hit
Its name, by the way, is The Hymen Smasher! (my girlfriend got a real kick out of that :mischief:
Plus the soultrap on it combined with a certain rechargable soul gem I have nearly unlimited charge
Only problem is if I've fighting only mages or something, then I can't get any gems big enough to trap their souls and I don't feel like going through that whole transmute gem thing

I just made my first enchanted armor in the university, made a chainmail cuirass with fortify light armor 10pt. But as I looked for the best enchantment I didn't see a lot of options. There was shock damage, fire damage, frost damage, sheild, fortify skill. How do you get more enchanting options? Also, my illusion, alteration, mysticsm skills are at either 10 or 15 and I can't do anything. How do I raise my skills?

You can only enchant with spells that you have. You must also be able to cast the spell, as in being a high enough level/having enough Magicka. As far as raising skills goes, just use that type of Magicka. Train illusion? Cast illusion spells. Or you can find trainers.
