I would like to start a business...some kind of engineering business....and hope to profit from hit like my clients would from my products so that I would live in a decent home and be able to support my family :)

Unless you're starving, in which case two heads are just a reminder that you are hungry. :p

Oh, Lestat, do you get mary jane or anything like that for your MS? I heard that was one of the things they issued medical marijuana for.

Well, the godlike ruler of the world needs something to honor him, and I feel that a large statue would be a good start. :p

- A life-size replica of me made out of rubber.
- A golden chain that says "Bling".
- An autograph of Quentin Tarantino.
- A nice settlement allowing me to quit any job I might have in the future. Prefered: the city had to pay me because a drunk cop hit me.
- A bag of genuine gold nuggets.
Not Stephen Colbert.
A selective and highly specific radioligand for each of the exististing neuroreceptors in the human brain plus a detector system that can go around the Heisenberg bloody uncertainty principle! :D
Isn't that the thing where you have your head 'bluetoothed'? I was reading an article about a guy who severed his spinal cord and some neurologists hooked up some wires to his motor region. He could then use a robotic hand to pick up stuff. The technology is still in its infancy, but it looks promising.

I think I read that one the other day.

You know, that day where I posted the Adobe Announcement. :p

Are you mocking me?!?!?! :p

It's still involving wires at the moment, but ideally it would have to be wireless to reduce the chance of infection...

I was being serious actually, which everyone seems to think that I cannot be.

At all.

No, that's a different technique, you can read more about neuromotor prosthesis here in the original article:
http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v4 ... 04970.html

The things I wished for, selective radioligands, have to do with the possibility to study the transmitter substances in the brain. The brain cells communicate with each other via various chemical substances, neurotransmitters, and those are fundamental for brain function. You can read a little about it here:
http://www.crump.ucla.edu/software/lpp/pet_overview.htm
http://depts.washington.edu/nucmed/IRL/pet_intro/l

Apart from needing molecules that allow studying the activity of these neurochemical systems in the brains, we also need a better spatial resolution in order to study the brain's small nuclei, that are like relay stations for various functions. Since the method is based on detection of the photons emitted when matter and anti-matter (positron and electron) collide, Heisenberg's uncertainly principle sets a limit for preciseness, which I would like to get rid of :D

So we're going to make a Pan-style (I think that's the right god at least) statue of Chim?

Maybe it's due to that lady who was outside his house.

Is it me, or did this thread go down by five posts? :speech:
