I want to smack this person SO badly right now.

Anything goes... just keep it clean.

Either he didn't see the picture and just thought to have a picture of a horse there...or it's an error in the Matrix.
I want to give that person a hug, frankly. Poor bloke.
You want to hug the man who rides moths? Scary... :D

It's probably just a prank... It's the sort of thing I'd do...
Ik, did you photoshop that yourself or flog it from somewhere? If the latter, it's great, if the former, bloody brilliant.
Yes, I've got a bit of photoshop in the fingers... ;) Thanks!

He can't actually see the picture he's holding up, and it's obvious he's reading from a script, so I don't think it's fair to call the guy an idiot.

Also, maybe there's a picture of a horse on the other side, and he thought that both sides showed a horse, he is look quite intently at the side facing him after all.

He was pointing at stuff on the board... There's no way one can read that off an autocue.

*point to center, just a bit to the right*
*no, a bit up*
*yes, that's about right*
*no, wait, just a little more to the left.*
*yes, that's where the tail should be*
*or... the head...*
*Sorry, John, I got a call coming in.*
*I'll just give you a couple of lines you can say to the people, so they have something to listen to*
Say: -Look at that horse
Say: -The bushy tail, the big teeth, the hooves.
*yes, just point them out. Improvise a bit.*
*Just guess where they must be.*
*Yes, I know you can't see the actual picture, but they're about in the middle*
*Wait a second...*
*No, keep talking*
*What I meant to say was, that I will be a bit distracted by this phone call*
*My name's Terry Tate, btw.*
*My daughter's on the phone*
*She wants to date you sometime.*
*I shouldn't be pointing that out to you now..*
*hmmmmm*
*Okay, John, my daughter just told me something you might want to know*
*Let me have a look on the screen...*
*Yes, it's not really a horse you have there, now is it...*
*Oh my.*
*I think I made you say some stupid things, John*
*I'm so sorry*
*Oh and my daughter just called you retarded, so I guess that means the date is off*

Edit: ah, well, the other side of the board... Don't know about that... Couldn't he have turned it around then, so he wouldn't make an idiot out of himself??

Well, to do that he'd have to have known that he'd make an idiot out of himself before hand.

But you'd have to agree he could turn it around the moment he found out he was saying stupid things... Plus, his finger was pointing out the lines of the moth too accurately. Have another look.

Actually, he only points at the surrounding outlines of the moth's head, and then points to bits which aren't the same lines as on the moth.

From what I can tell from where he's pointing, the horse is pointed away from the camera, with it's head turned towards the camera, like this: (might mess up, I'm not sure how the spacing on GB works)

------------------- / \ < Head
----------------- _| ''/_ < Teeth
---------------- |/ || \| < Outlines he draws indicating it's butt
---------------- | / | \ | < Tail
---------------- ||-|- ||

I know that's not very good, but that's basically what he points out with lines added to try and create a horse-ish form. :o

Oke, my already crippled picture is crippled further by the posting system.
