Movies, News & System Requirements etc. for Fable 2
As far as I know, Lionhead said that Fable 2 will be released early 2007. No exact date as of yet.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
Sorry for posting a two-week old article because I thought that the News ID would have it covered. Since it wasn't covered, I thought of posting it here. This is the latest newsfrom Gamespot regarding Fable 2.

Err....that serious? :speech: Hmm. That's odd. I did a search on the release date for Fable 2 and it is still listed as TBA 2007.Baron Zemo wrote:I read in Electronic gaming monthly that the head of Lionhead Studios was not very ready to realease a sequel since he said it was going to be the greatest RPG ever it didn't turn out so well when people were sending him death threats. so they say a release is possible in 2008
P.S. Thanks for the information, Baron Zemo.

Hey guys this is my first post here, i've found some more images from (IGN). I must say they look really good, but they might be the same as the ones from the post above.
Thus I have no idea what they look like, because the page doesn't load for me.

There is a recent article of Fable 2 at Gamespot titled: GDC 07: Fable 2 Impressions. There is also a previous article about puppy love (link) In that article, he demonstrated the one of the game's ingredients, unconditional love. In that trailer, he demonstrated that with the main character's pet dog (Yes, there is a pet dog. I was quite shocked as it was ruled out as a hoax previously).
P.S. By the way, there are two new images in that article as well.

fable 2
See now I am sorry for a few things I am doing on this thread. One it seams to be dead and I am still posting. Two I didn't really ask if I could join I just wanted to speak about fable 1 and 2. Three I am sort of spamming after I post this post. But down to the real reason I posted this message. If anybody wants to see any of the fable 2 things that are coming out. Also is it out already? But go to YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. then type fable 2. Next click on any lol. At this moment I am currently watching about the dogs. YouTube - Fable 2 Gameplay 2 (Pets: Part 2)
Just click on the right where it says fable 2 dogs episode 1 before watching episode 2. I am sure everyone knows of youtube but still. Here is some things which I am sure you already know of or seen if you follow the fable line I don't really though lol. But just type down in the search box fable 2.

Never mind I found the my post Mr Sir. Oh and everyone else who comes on this just ignore the beginning of the post where it said that I am sorry for spamming yadda yadda I was too lazy to delete it. But I saw the dog demo and the dog was cute and I posted on you tube. On I think fable 2 preview 3 or four I am wolf servant I love wolves yes. But I said that I think it is a great game and that I only have one question. I wish to buy this for my littler cousin and I was sort of trying to lead it to mean that it even says on the box that the rating was just a "Suggestion" and If I didn't than I was gonna. But what I did say was that the first thing a child's parent will do is look at the rating and in the teaser gathering he said you could have children, and "spawn" children ya know? I asked the you tube version if you saw anything or did the screen turn black and it would be the next day. Because that would really ruin it. It really would. Because there were thousand of little kids who played Fable 1 and were addicted into it. I mean it did say M but both me and my little cousin have this game and it's fine. But again I will say parents especially my cousin's mother because that is the first thing she checks for is the rating. Ya know not even the rating just what it says in the box of why it is rated this. Now it had sexual "themes" in it but nothing like graphical content. But that isn't the only doubt I have. And I will say I do like the idea of having a child in this one. Not so much the parts in which you are "having the child." Now I am trying to say this in the most censored way. But the other thing I have a doubt about; well not so much a doubt, it's rather than a worry; not even. It's a quiet sadness--just judge what you would call it. I am a little depressed that heroes are gone and that there are muskets. I am fine with the muskets but I simply dislike the fact that it is sort of colonial times. And the muskets brings up a little question in my mind: Will there also be bows? I mean bows do make the world go round' lmao. But now I believe I am done with dislikes and worries. Now the parts that I think will be productive and fun about fable 2. For one that it is on xbox 360. For I sold my regular xbox to acquire xbox 360 which we got a great deal on. Because my mother understood the sign about how not all xbox games run on xbox 360 but you could get updates which let you get the other games for xbox. But I am not hooked up to the internet with my 360 which means I can't get all the updates I wish soon to be hooked up."We originally had two xboxes "not xbox 360's" one for me and one for my brother. Then I got an xbox 360 then when my bro came back from collage for a break I got mind sucked into Fable which my other bro got for me for Christmas but I never got to play it until the beginning of the official spring. "We are not rich though I had been saving up for three years for an xbox 360". Now another liking is that I do fancy how you can get a wife like the first one. And I do like that you can have a child. I simply love the way you interact. "Take note everything I am saying is my opinion from trailers." A great example is with the dog I love the fact that a dog follows and helps you and how you could throw toys and play with it. I also thought that the way how it interacted with how dark or light you are or how you feel toward some one, and how it was the same. This is true in real life this is a realistic trait. If you truly love a dog and show it compassion it actually picks up vibes from facial expressions and deep feelings you have toward something or someone. Also the fact that you could care for it very well like when it was limping in the video that will happen with a dog the same way it walks. And a dog if hiking will "to protect you" stay just a little in the front to keep an eye and nose out for bears or a mere raccoon all for your safety. He mentioned "Peter Molynuex" that the dog will follow you if you run away when it is battered or bruised. If you are at a pub and you hear scratching it will burst in and everyone will look at you. That could very well happen in real life if it has run away. In fact it has happened. But the whole dog idea is great. I like how you can heal it and play and my favorite was in the beginning of the demo the dog jumped up on him that was cute. There is also the new beings and stuff that I like. "Once I get the game the only way I will let the dog suffer in the wilderness is if we are facing a big ass dragon or troll and he is hurt and I am also and I start running away. Is the only way I would leave it. But I would try and get out of the dangers reach and wait for the dog as close as I could if it doesn't come than I will wait at a home or store that I bought for the dog. And while waiting I would buy it hundreds of toys lmfao. That is the only way I would leave it." Basically we "KNOW" there is more than the first one or what would be the meaning of making a second one. We know that it is gonna be better. I have looked at many things tonight and am a little tired. I like that you can free travel meaning there are no roads that you "HAVE" to follow. As he said you can climb cliffs, jump into the ocean and go into the wilderness is a very important thing that I will like. I will put it in an easier way to explain. I loved every feature the dog does I love the fact that you can have a partner, I love the new system and I love the character "Probably" being a loner. As far as links go just go to youtube and type fable 2 or one either way. But here are demo links.

I think it is best to take this individual's statement with a grain of salt for now as release dates tend to change. Just today, I visited Gamespot and it listed the release date as TBA 2008.JWCrawford wrote:I was at a best buy, asking for fable: tlc, and the helper said "we dont have it, but fable 2 comes out Oct. 15."
Is this true?
P.S. Hello and welcome to the forums, JWCrawford.

Some new screenshots of Fable 2 from Computer and Videogames. Additional details are also included:
Fable 2 is set 500 years after the original in the world of Albion where, just like the original, you will embark on a quest that gives you the freedom to make choices that effect how you progress through the game, and the type of character you become.
You will have the choice to play as either a man or woman, and the expanded world means you can get married, have children and shape your own life.
The combat system has also received an overhaul, with swords, maces, bows, guns and a new magic system, with players mixing the different weapons and fighting styles to battle enemies.
The mixture of moody night, daytime and sunset shots show off some pretty lighting and the shadows cast over the game's detailed scenery.
