this makes the assumption that lucas arts didn't tell obsidian to remove the content in the first place.

They had no choice in order to get the game out in time for the deadline.

From all my reading & understanding, Lucasart told them a drop dead date & they had to edit in order to meet the requirement.

cut material sound clips

FYI, that website with the cut transcripts and sound clips is no longer working. Does anyone have the files saved somewhere, in which case they could upload or post them somewhere where everyone could access them?
