I'm the whipper-snapper who's been throwing rocks on your shack for like a gazillion years. You'd think you'd remember me by now I'm, "Consarnit get the hell off my goddamned property whippersnapper! Darnit new fangled rocks and such!" - Curdis !

fable wrote:We'll work on it. I can send you on some of Braudel's works on economic anthropology, or Mumford's lengthy musings on the nature of cities and civilizations. Fun for the whole family! And if that doesn't work, we can always shoot you. Hey, it's the American Way. Or is that dump you blindfolded into a plane, beat you up, send you via Austria to Afghanistan, and beat you up some more? I forget.
is that supposed to be boring? how about reading up on my town? lets see...

Timmins at a Glance(from Timmins Travel: City of Timmins Ontario Tourism Directory & Vacation Guide )

At a whopping 3,210 sq km (1,995 sq mi), Timmins is one of the largest cities, area-wise, in Canada. The gold rush of 1909 earned Timmins the nickname of the “City with the Heart of Gold”. Mining continues to make up the majority of the city's economic base and mining tours are a main attraction here. Timmins has another claim to fame, as it is the childhood home of country superstar Shania Twain. While in Timmins be sure to stop by the Shania Twain Centre, where her childhood and rise to super-stardom is well documented. Over 500 lakes are located in and around Timmins, ensuring a wealth of recreational possibilities. Cedar Meadows Wildlife Park is a popular attraction, as visitors can observe bison, moose and elk in their natural habitat. Inevitably for such country, fishing camps dot the shores with their rustic log cabins and main lodges, where meals are often prepared for hungry fishers returning with their daily catch.

i know youre thinking "OHMYGOSH! i am SO going there!" *sarcasm*
but if you actually thought that, dont come, this things supposed to make it sound interesting...the shania twain center? you get to look at her outfits, and listen to her music...what fun!

oh yes, and cedar meadows is just a bunch of trees and a few ponds surrounded by electric wire fencing and a bunch of animals thrown in there

oh yes! and the mines are almost dried up, they arent finding anymore gold...i think theyre down to zinc right now...

Yeah, that was how I was interpretating it. "Timmins is a collection of villages lieing (sp?) miles apart, in the middle of nowhere, and it's got a Shania Twain (wth is that anyway?) fanboy centre."

Who am I?

What a deeply philosophical question, BS. I'm not used to this from you.

Well, lets see...
hmmm
male 51 yrs old ;)
Gamebanshee lurker during the years I played the BG series. :)
recently joined when I built my new computer to play both the KOTOR games.
and more especially Morrowind, got interested when I got a chance to play the xbox version and went out and bought the GOTY version for PC, and then modded it. Don't post much, but check the forums almost everyday, you'll usually find me in the Morrowind forum or the SYM and other entertainment forums. Public profile has more info. :D

hmmm, the same old same old whenever I post. In summary:

One member trying to pick me up(I would have thought there would have been more, but no matter. I'm not running a dating service here folks)

general threats against my life or general well being which actually extend my life since laughter is said to be good for the soul.

Insults against my family line from a deluded member who still worship[s at the feet of a movement long dead.

fable and Xan waving their age like a flag( I'd forgotten how easy it is to confuse the truly dottering. I apologise. You two just sit down, snap your false teeth at each other, and the nurse will be around to clean you up shortly....not entirely a bad deal in itself)

The appearance of a long missing paladin of questionable morals( Hello to you to nippy)

Curdis being Curdis...whatever that may be. However, it does explain the holes in my siding.

One member who truly understands what is important.

And one member who can actually follow directions and answer a question, and in a coherent manner to boot. I will spare you all from sudden destruction for BlueSky's sake. But I really hope he tells me it's not necessary.

Now, where are the women of low morals and questionable integrity?

Good we have a shared understanding. As to the last part, I hid them. What're they worth to you?

Nope! I keep them away from other people. It's for their own best interests dontcha know! It's amazing what a storage unit and two couches can do for hiding people.

Does this signal my promotion from cautionary tale to enigma?
Bloodstalker wrote:Now, where are the women of low morals and questionable integrity?
In your locale, they are everywhere and easily encountered. Unfortunately the extent of their low morals is to either not vote or vote neocon, and their questionable integrity relates entirely to checking and charge accounts.

If you want woman empowered by their sexuality who are willing to negotiate their affection then I may be able to point you in the right direction. - Curdis !

uhh ya, its about 4 hours to the nearest town...that towns a farming town though...to get to the REAL towns, like toronto you have to drive 9 hours while speeding, and like 11 going the speed limit(who does that these days?)

shania twain is some rich country signer who loves her hometown sooooo much, she lives in switzerland not canada, and when anyone asks me where the shania twain center is i usually tell them the opposite direction :p

That would explain the endless hours spent here. :p ;) Have you considered moving to an actual city? Or at least a place where they open the pharmacy on Sundays?
