?? Did I say that. Oh, that's right. Drakron is right my game will speed up some if I delete the files in the cache folder. Sorry Magusg, I humbly bow before you
Deleting the contents of the cache folder is essentially the same as limiting its size: less cache. And I really don't think this has to do with my settings. My computer is 800MHZ. Even from the messed up saved games, the gameplay is not the important problem. The thing that's preventing me from playing is the horrendous save times, since the game is always autosaving, and since saving is so crucial to a healthy party(a save a day will keep the grimreeper away
) I don't think game settings affect save times whatsoever. In fact, the only thing that should affect it is CPU speed and harddrive space, and I have plenty of both. Now you see why this problem has stumped Interplay and Ken from TeamBG. I don't want to waste your time any further. I appreciate your help, but I don't think there's an easy fix. But do you think the game would continue working right if I started from a savegame that's working 100%? That's the main issue. I won't care overly much if I have to go back and redo some things, as long as it keeps working! I don't know if I could take it if I wasted all of that time redoing quests and stuff, only to hit right smack into a wall of slowdown again.
P.S.: How do you like my skills in Chronomagic, Weasel?
