?? Did I say that.

I keep mine at 600mb. As for your frame rate I messed around with mine and got varied results.(My mom use to say give that boy a stick and a anvil and he will break the anvil Image) Try to drop your frame rate to 28 or 26. This might help.

As for joining the good side you will have to talk to Ubik. Image Image Image

Deleting the contents of the cache folder is essentially the same as limiting its size: less cache. And I really don't think this has to do with my settings. My computer is 800MHZ. Even from the messed up saved games, the gameplay is not the important problem. The thing that's preventing me from playing is the horrendous save times, since the game is always autosaving, and since saving is so crucial to a healthy party(a save a day will keep the grimreeper away Image) I don't think game settings affect save times whatsoever. In fact, the only thing that should affect it is CPU speed and harddrive space, and I have plenty of both. Now you see why this problem has stumped Interplay and Ken from TeamBG. I don't want to waste your time any further. I appreciate your help, but I don't think there's an easy fix. But do you think the game would continue working right if I started from a savegame that's working 100%? That's the main issue. I won't care overly much if I have to go back and redo some things, as long as it keeps working! I don't know if I could take it if I wasted all of that time redoing quests and stuff, only to hit right smack into a wall of slowdown again.

P.S.: How do you like my skills in Chronomagic, Weasel? Image

Well as I said I'm not that technical and if they couldn't help it's very doubtful I can. Do you still have one of your screwed up saves and if you do can you zip it and send it to me.. And you are not wasting my time but I'm most likely wasting yours. Image Very good you master mage. Image

That's a great idea Weasel! I'll send it right away...as soon as I figure out how to zip it. If I can't, I'll just send the little pieces of it...they don't even add up to half a meg I think.

Umm...The zip wouldn't upload. So I'll have to send it as separate files after all.

Just tried them. They keep timing out, even though I have a fairly fast connection speed (as fast as you'll get over a phone line) The problem is that the connection with the e-mail server doesn't seem to hold. You know the computer icon in the lower right corner of your screen that lights up when you're on the Internet? On downloads it usually stays lighted up, but when uploading that zip it only lights up sporadically.

I've never had problems with the cap remover. It's strange but i began having problems (not connected to the cap remover i think) when i installed the patch Image

Magusg I tried to figure out why it is 'timing out' . I use Outlook Express and you can adjust your time out setting with it. But this can't be the problem because I can e-mail(with a saved game attachment) myself from Netscape to my ISP account. I remember going to microsoft.com and looking thur their FAQ and finding out how. I'll try later to see if I can find it again.

The Site is Broken for me. Tells me there are errors and there are no links or menus to go to the place on the site to download the 50 lvl rules.

Any other way to get it?

Pigdog try it again I just went there the site is up. Now they do have weird problems there. You might have to try two or three times to get thru. Teambg doesn't have a server of their own I believe and most sites don't won't the liability of hosting them. Why lawsuits .

@Ubik I was just messying with Magusgs' Quote. Image
