You can do this one of two ways: keep Nalia and drop Valgar in favor of Mazzy or you can give Aerie three casts of knock (I never needed more and never found a level 2 spell that I needed multiple casts of) and drop Nalia for Mazzy. Either one's possible, but in the end whichever way you want to go is the best way. I can only make suggestions. Hope this helps some.

But I liked Anomen. He's cool!

Wow I never in all the boards I've read heard that I did use him a tad, he wasn't bad when I got him the flail of ages. My Pc was duel wielding Long Swords. He didn't whine at all when I had him. Might of been cause he was too busy getting pounded

I suggest you get rid of either Yoshi or Aerie. But if you haven't try finish the game using Yoshi perhaps you should keep him to see what happen at the Asylum. If i were you i would get rid of Aerie, I know that some people says she's good since she's Mage/Cleric. But she's so weak on the battle and her nagging really ticks me off.

I suggest you get rid of al of the thiefs and take Jan Jabsen into your company. With his lock picking gloves, he's the best thief there is!

Correction Nicky....it's Jan Jansen and he sure is one helluva thief with a BADD Gnomish attitude

and of course the stories that Jan tells are hysterical.

Jan Jansen rocks and i think he is the second funniest NPC (Minsc is the 1st obviously)

In fact this thread remindes me of that time that uncle scratchy was at the turnip farm......................then he was eaten by a griffon...........................I must tell you about it sometime.

Boo's whiskers twitch at the thought of such an outlandish tale, little one. Remind me sometime to tell you the tale of grand adventuring when Boo went paw-to-talon with a dragon of enormous evil. T'was a tale fit for legend, it was!!! Isn't that right Boo?

Jan is the best thief in the game and a good spellcaster at that. He's a good addition. And Anomen is not the best fighter but he's not terrible with the right equipment. I think his spellcasting makes up for his weaknesses, but he is annoying. Of course I've never had Valygar in my party or Mazzy.

I swear by Mazzy Fenton. Gotta love that girl; uber-badass with a bow and Jan isn't too bad himself. But Mazzy is a must-have in my most humble opinion.

Man now I'm thinking about getting Mazzy. Guess I'd have to give up Anomen. Such pressing issues that weigh upon my mind.

That's not even a thought dude. Drop Anomen like the bad habit he is, and grab Mazzy. Careful if you do though, she may be small but she'll slap you for it .

Just think of Anomen as a sub He can help some in the early part of the game. Sure can take some damage
