The only reason why I like Jaheira is because of the nice quests she brings me, I usually kill her or just let her go after the underdark... I think she is a weakling and is only good in the beginning of the game because of the fire elemental. So you could say I hate her... yes Image

You sick bastard. Jaheira adds much to the game. She is a capable spell caster, fighter, and has some of the best dialog- she's a keeper even w/o the romance thing.

May Korgan snuggle up next to you to keep warm.

Are you kidding? Jaheira is hands down my best character. If you treat her right, she excels. If you dump all your powerful stuff on other characters, of course she's going to suck...

I gave her a few nice things that make her more than worth my while. Aside from being nearly as powerful as Keldorn in melee, she's also a capable spell caster. Conjure Fire Elemental and Insect Plague are favorites.

As far as romances are concerned, I don't think either of the three NPC women are ideal. But Jaheira's is the only one that seems to have any real depth, at least to me. I'm not a big fan of the damsel in distress that expects you to catch her every time she faints, or the ravening ditch-pig that tells you how horrible your "performance" was, Drow or not. So there you have it.

Jaheira's romance would be great were it not for her hubby.

As it is she's a freak. If my lifting partner were hit by a car and his wife started playing footsie with me at the open casket service, I'd be a little disturbed.
