On the C/R vs F/C, yes the C/R is better due to IS, but the difference is not overwhelming. IP and nature's beauty are utility spells that take time to cast. It's nice having the option but again the difference isn't overwhelming.
The reason I'm saying this, is that I don't like half-elves
I like my protagonist to be either an Elf or a Human. I like dwarves as well but hate their avatar.We all agree on F/M >>> F/C or C/R so that's good
Edit: 1 more + for the F/C: you get the option of an arguably better stronghold. since both chars are extremely powerfull tanks, this is one of the deciding factors for me.
