That´s just simply strange......I´ve gone through the game four times and never have I recieved any romance dialogues in the Underdark...well as a matter of fact I´ve never had any romance dialouges in chapters 1,4,5 and 7. When I romanced Viconia and actually dragged her with me through the underdark....the only thing I can remember was that she opened her mouth a few times when my party was speaking to the drow but it had nothing at all to do with the romancing part.

i don't know but she's doing it. i'm almost out of the underdark now but all through it she was talking to my PC. i figured out she likes him to be wild and adventerous(sp?) but let her walk all over him. actually that doesn't sound too bad lol.

when i redo my main game i'll wait to pick up anomen until i'm almost to the underdark and see if he hits on me there.

When I worshipped at the throne of Viconia, she and I also continued our romance through the Underdark. Her reaction to me either sleeping with or not sleeping with Phaere was priceless, both ways. But she's the only one I had it continue with in the Underdark. Probably with her being Drow and all.

I simply can't get this to work and I'm not sure why. The way to activate the console is merely Debug mode=1 right? I think it works because when I use the command to try to check my Lovetalks on characters it works, but when I try to change the global timer to 1, nothing happens. Is it instananeous or do you have to wait perhaps a few minutes? Does it matter if your romancing more than one char? I'm pretty sure I typed it right because I just copied and pasted.

Is getting the amulet for Jahiera *required* because when a fight spilt out onto the streets of Amn, that merchant guy turned hostile on me and after trying to run from me my party had to kill him.
Maybe I'll just try romancing her a second time. I'd really like to try something new my second time around though.

Ok, before I killed dermin, my romance rating was 52, and when I killed him it went up to 53, will I be able to progress with the romance?

Only if you got the "dawning" dialogue before you killed him....then it should progress as normally.....otherwise you´re in a bit of trouble...

I have a save right before you have to kill him, in my game, you have to rest before he apprears, so I'm just standing around here waiting for Jaheria to do the dawning thing, is there any certain time/place that it triggers?

Can your romance with Jaheria continue while in the underdark?

I seriously doubt that the Jaheira romance continues while in the Underdark....I´ve completed the Jaheira romance during three separate games.....and in not a single one of them has there been any romance dialogue in the Underdark...

my lovetalk rating is 53 right now after picking jaheira back up from the harper hold after she leaves during the night,and had Terminsel gave me her note.however,I do not remember any thing about a sleep cycle dialogue having been iniated,so is it alright to kill dermin when he shows up?I've let the game sit for about 2 hours,with no more dialogue from jaheira,so I'm pretty sure dermin is going to be the next step in the romance.I'm almost beside myself,I really enjoyed her character in bg1,and have actually started this game over twice trying to get her romance correct.Please help?!?!

Don't know if anyone pointed this out to taira but its not

Dumb question, appropreitate thread. How do you check the romance points, or whatever their called?

This is a stupid question, but just where do you type all that CONSOLE stuff? Can you do it in the game? In DOS? I'm not a nerd and so am completely lost.

OK, so wait...if Jaheira's romance takes place in Ch. 2+3, and Viconia's can take place in Ch. 4....what are the possibilities? Serial Monogamy (romance J, dump her, save V from the mob, proceeed to ch. 4)???

Or can you even start with both in yer party right away?

Jaheira just talked with my character about sun cycle and sleeping, when we woke up in the Illithid dungeon.

I am in underdark and romence still going. Then she ask about last battle thing 3 times.
I didnt kill Dermin yet. Romance point 52
Any suggestions. ? I hope this will solve when i kill dermin.

If you're in the Underdark I'm not sure. Whenever you get out, immediately get to an outdoors area and rest. Hopefully you'll get the "dawn of our day" conversation before Dermin comes to kill you.

Although a lot of people suggest that KILLING Dermin is what starts Jaheira looping, I'm more of the opinion that you have to be at a set place in the romance before ANY of the Dermin meetings or she may get stuck. You have to complete "dawn of our day" before killing him, but it seems like if you're not at a certain point before your first or second meeting with him she'll start looping at a different conversation. I think this problem doesn't come up too terribly often because the romance requirements for the first and second Dermin encounters aren't too terribly strict, i.e. most people will have reached or passed the necessary point before running into him the first or second time. Getting to "dawn of our day" before the third meeting, though, is a considerably more unrealistic expectation for Black Isle to have, as it involves a lot of waiting around with no resting until the last second. In any event, I came to this conclusion because during my last Jaheira loop problem I had a saved game before each of the Dermin meetings, and I was fairly far behind in the romance. (I had been resting a lot for nonrelated reasons and thusly hadn't racked up anywhere near enough "real" time to advance the romance much at all.) Jaheira would loop at a different conversation than "did you enjoy the last battle?" each time. I had to go all the way back to a save I had made before the FIRST Dermin meeting to break the loop. I'll do some more research later and try to find exactly which romance point is necessary for each of the Dermin meetings, although it's not terribly important given that most people will be at or past the requirements for all but the final one.

What I want to ask, is can someone tell me if my romance IS screwed. I seem to be moving through the game quicker than most (from what I've read above in terms of conversations). Or maybe I just speant more time in the city.

Anyway, the last conversation I had with her was in the Elven city. She asked me about the last battle I fought. But I've been playing for quite some time, and nothing has happened since that dialogue. I haven't seen Delvin again yet, I haven't had a Dawn dialogue. I think I've seen Delvin twice.....or was it once? Anyway, I haven't had to fight him yet.

Now I'm gonna leave it paused tonight and see if I'm just being impatient, but I would appreciate if anyone could tell me if I've just missed a set piece or something......I sure as hell don't want to have to start playing with the values (thus missing dialogue), or worse, restart.

Hmmm, I think I'm just being impatient, I haven't seen any of the signs that the romance has bugged up.......though a dialogue hasn't taken this long since I entered the Asylm. Man that chapter really put my romance behind the main plot

Oh I don't bloody believe it! I left it on overnight, about 8 hours.........she hasn't said a thing.

Well, I guess it's screwed, unless anyone knows of a reason why it's taking her so long to move to the next dialogue? I haven't let her die, haven't rested a lot within a few minutes, hven't had her turned to stone, haven't had to kill Dervin before lovetalk 53.......

At least I can restart and go at a more measured pace. It says "early on" she gets called to the Harper Hold. That didn't happen for me until I'd done the Underdark, LOL

Just a small question here.

Grimbold the Unlovely asked where you type in all that CLUA stuff, and frankly, I would also like to know, so if one of you CLUA game wizards would please take pity on me and tell me what program to download or just where I need to type my CLUA commands, I would be most appreciative.

I'm not going to cheat, i just want to be able to check my talk ratings w/ everybody, cause I'm tryin to get the Jaheira romance, but she hasn't talked in a long time.

I kicked both Viconia and Aerie outta my party just to improve my chances, but so far she's still silent.

So, where do I type in my CLUA stuff?
