There are many here who will disagree with you on that. A good number of people will say that despite Oblivion being newer, Morrowind still outdoes it by far.

I've seen it for more than 80 Euro on ebay once, but I've just checked and yeah, that's not the usual price. It's at least $32 at Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more and $44 to $84 bucks at ebay if you "buy it now".
There aren't really any other games as non linear as Elder Scrolls. Gothic III has been mentioned bit the world is smaller than Cyrodiil and the game is quite linear but if you're not bothered about that I'd agree that going for KOTOR would be a good bet as is The Witcher.
Gothic III and linear? At least, more linear than Oblivion? Hell yeah. :rolleyes:
