Happy October Holidays!

Tomorrow, October 16 is BOSS's DAY. If you have one, make sure you kiss his/her ring (or whatever else is regarded as suitably kissable at your workplace) before all other loyal subjects deposit their germs on it.

October 20 is The Sweetest Day (no, seriously, I swear it is real). Become warm-and-fuzzy, and give’em darlings bear hugs. They’ll absolutely love it.

October 27 – Mother-in-law’s Day (I can't blame you if you have a hard time believing this one is real, but it is). A very good opportunity to earn a few brownie points.

October 31 – Halloween, I suppose Mr. Jack O’Lantern from Department of Homeland Security will be searching the trick-or-treaters’ pails for bombs once again.

OK, forget about the big issues... I have just found the single most significant reason why I'm pleased I live in Canada and not the US....
My SO's mother is.... "unique," and that is putting it euphemistically..
The less contact I have with the woman, the happier I am.

80. Barefoot Day.. that's right you can't wear shoes anywhere
81. Chicken Vindaloo Day... Sorry, no other choices for dinner
83. Navel Gazing Day... contemplate the contours of your belly button for the entire day!

84. Chicken-kicking day.

85. RpG appreciation Day

86. Halo 1, thru, 3 Day

87. Diet Day (doesn't hurt to eat right once every 365 days )

I hope my holiday can be longer...
