lol

what the hell are you guys talking about?
BGII is a great RPG game,
if you're complaing about the interactions and themes ****.

go look at Diablo II, or other RPG games, like revnent, darkstone, rage of mages, nox ect. these games are pure: slash a monster, cast a spell. kill a boss, get a item.
so compared to the rest of the RPG games, BGII should be having the best interactions and plots. at least in the Today's technology

Good God, anyone who thinks weapon speed and all that schi-bang shouldn't be part of a proper RPG game or P&P does not know roleplaying. You ChrisBoney by chance?

Oh BTW, the single most important thing about Role-Playing is what this previous poster said ( forget name Image )interaction with players. That's the general and fundamental concept roleplaying comes by.

I think the general opinion is that PnP is better than BG2. Well, that's because BG2 is not a DM or will ever be. To incorporate a real world into a game is just too much.

You probably need a P9999 999g ram to stall and load all the possible interaction/quest that can spawn. I mean a human being can change what they want as long as they see fit, but a computer has programmed to follow a certain script (hence NPC).

You should not complain about the game, as it is probably the best CRPG out there ever. However, it should be a priviledge for BG2 to be compared to a PnP session. IMHO, this is currently the best RPG game so far.

I think most people are comparing things in the wrong scope. Not just on this board, but people I meet in general, but that the way it is in this world. Image Image
