Sounds more frightening than anything else, Mah! Glad to know you didn't get any George Washington-induced concussions to ring in 2008. As for me, I spent New Year's with my sister and brother - quiet, boring, and altogether an absolute blast. A belated happy holidays to everyone! :)

I played board games with dad and step family! Home made cocoa beer and home made manicotti!

Well, my NYE was rather... interesting... :D

I had invited couple of my friends to my place to have a nice time together before the midnight. We had great evening, we played console games (my friend brought Nintendo Wii with him) and watched one film, The Simpsons Movie. Of course, when it was near 11 p.m. I was unbeatable in almost every game because I was the only one sober in the party :D

So, we moved to outside to see the fireshow. After that, we headed to local bar. Again, as I don't drink anymore, I was the only one who stayed in Cola. And because I was the driver, my friends probably had some moral hits because they ended up buying 95% of my drinks. So there is at least some good sides in being sober in bar :D

When the bars closed, we moved to local fastfood place, we ate a bit, and then I drove my friends to home. All in all, I spent around 15€ during the whole night, and I even had great time, especially while watching my friends being in drunk and doing stupid things :D

Dinner, then a card game with my family. Pretty dull when you look at it that way, but time spent with the family is always worth it, in my opinion.

LOL. Another brilliant reason NOT to indulge in the senseless guzzling of alcohol.

Got semi-drunk with some friends and a few of my students, watched some local fireworks, smoked some hooch...nice night but very low-key.

Felt thoroughly grateful last year was finally over.
