<STRONG>If only people boycotted Windows for some of the little things they boycott a game over</STRONG>

Well, you dont have a whole lot of alternatives. Some odd years back, I ran Linux as my only O/S for 1-2 years. Make mo mistake about it, it really is a great O/S, but I just got tired of trying to find half finished replacements for programs that ran almost flawlessly in windows. Pretty graphical games where right out the window. I think Quake and Doom where the only "3d" titles avaible. But that really didnt matter, cause I played MUD most of time... now there a game that sells on gameplay and not graphics .
Also, I dont feel that there is anything wrong with the graphics in Arcanum.. the gameworld just dont appeal to me. I like Sword and wizards.

Speaking of graphics, has anyone tried Severance - Sword of darkness (I think there is some diffence in the Euro/USA title). I thought that was the best Hack 'N Slash 3D yet. I really enjoyed playing that game. The graphics where beautifull, there worlds where nice a diverse. Learning the weapon combo's where a fun part of the game. If only that game had a plot.... it could have been the greatest thing to hit the selves in a long time.

Just checking things out, wasn't going to post but the reason I am is because of the banner ad @ the bottom of the screen. Vampire- The Masquerade, 37.99 is that a mistake or what isn't 3 years old, I played back when but damn it wasn't that good, good but not price freeze for the next ten years good. Hoping it's a sequel but clicked on it and it to me to a order screen calling VM redempetion, now insanely marked down to 29.99. Any real sanity here or has a marked been missed big time?

P.S. Fable, I was seven alot of us were around there Pool of Radiance could have been Shakespeare and I wouldn't notice. It was vapid, so where a lot of mods for D@D and I am not talking patch-like ones. We were happy for the exp. C64 ... a good story would have probably taken six more floppy's. No, I am joking but Stormfront had to realize this to some degree. Stories can be salvaged, so could the pulp like story of POR. I mean I played Bard's Tale to for the "cerberal" play. What was it Dreamweaver spell or something XXYZ... damn it I am not writing another word right now.

P.S.S God, I hate myself. Yeah, not much choice on the Windows descion. But actuall awarness of other platforms with people who didn't know Windows was just a platform would have brought in some competetion. Microsoft, they brought changes in and all, ripped off Apple effectivly pulled a Borg on them and coasted. Because we didn't think to queston. (Ewww, what's this cute little button in the bottom left of my screen... well how neat, here have my first born.)
