SNES...but the problem with consoles is, you cannot upgrade them, 3 years and they are outdated...

I'd never buy a console, because my PC would just get lonely if I didn't use it all the time :D

Now you know why I'm broke. :p :D

Actually, I only buy it myself if I can't get someone else to buy it for me; and when I do buy something, I usually go for the best deal I can get. My parents bought me my desktop PC for Christmas a few years ago, my laptop when I graduated from high school, and my SNES for Christmas about 10 years ago( Dang, that was a long time ago). I bought my N64 with money I earned from selling things in a garage sale, mainly money from selling my Genesis and 32X. I'm also not afraid to owe someone money, but I'm happy to say that, at the moment, I am debt free. :D

((*muttering can be heard from somewhere in the background* Give her a week and she'll be back in debt again))

*grr* *slaps are heard* Anyway... :D Now I just have to figure out how to save some of my money. I gotta have enough to get Game Cube. :D

I would say SNES mainly because I owned one. I can still remember their rivalry with Sega. Ah the memories...

Well we are a pretty spoilt household in this respect. We have PC, playstation, N64, SNES and Gameboy.

For me? Well PC. It has to be. Though Donkey Kong Country on SNES has yet to be beaten as a platform game.

N64? Well I refuse to pay £60 for Donkey Kong 64 even though it has now been out since the console.

Playstation? Well my sister's b/f is project manager in the UK for PS and PS2 - I get a little discount ;)

If I wanted a playstation or PS2, I'd be jealous. :p

We've got 2 N64s, 1 SNES, 4 Game Boy Colors, 1 Game Boy Pocket, 3 PCs, and a laptop.

Mine: 1 N64, 1 PC, 1 SNES, 1 GBC, 1GBP, 1 laptop

My parents: 1 N64, 2 PCs, and 3 GBCs.

Our 'motto': Save money where you can on the important stuff so you can afford the luxuries. :D  :D

Do you have the steering wheel set up?? I don't have any accesories for my PC yet, so I have to play nascar heat with the arrows on the keyboard! :(

Anyhow I've only had a PC since Christmas! I was late to the cyberworld. :D

Spoken like someone who has never played one of the classics. ;) Try playing Bubble Bobble for a while. You can't tell me the designers weren't smoking something when they came up with that game (though it was still fun as hell). Makes Majora's Mask look positively mundane. :D

Consoles and me go way back. I started off playing the original Donkey Kong on the Coleco Vision, moved on to the NES and games like Castlevania, and Double Dragon, then proceeded to the SNES, and later the N64. While I prefer my PC in most respects, nothing beats a good old console system when you’re hanging out with some friends. After catching an old sci-fi flick and eating some pizza my buds and I will unwind by shooting each other in Goldeneye 007 or Perfect Dark. It's a perfect way to end the evening. ;) :D

I think I've played Bubble Bobble, but I don't remember for sure. Majora's Mask didn't seem quite as strange when I realized that what I thought were skirts being worn by those giant dudes were actually their beards. :o :D When I told her about Minsc and Boo, my girlfriend asked what drug the game Baldur's Gate is on. :D

I think (yes I do), PC games are cool to do alone, execpt for games like worms ect.

The fun about consoles is that it's fun to do with friends, for instance playing super mario kart or super smash bros. allways fun!!
:p

You'd remember if you played Bubble Bobble... trust me you'd know ;) :D

When I was around 13/14 I had a sega Mega Drive II. Had games like Urban Strike, Battle-Tech, Sonic the Hedgehog. They were fun... until that day I saw MechWarrior 2's introduction in the store. Sorry, but I just had to have it... was a converted PC man, right then and there :) :D

Can I introduce you to a few games like say, Counter-Strike, Need For Speed, Red Alert 2? These PC games are indeed greater than any console game I've ever seen... and multiplayer to boot! :D

What I meen is, it's instand lafter, not playing to win just to have fun.

I find it hard to explane, with a couple of frinds behind the nintendo is differend then at the PC, pc games can be better for solo or multie in the form of half life or red alert.
But the nintendo brings up the child in you..
