If she was flying to NY, then she has either landed at another airport in the northeast or she has landed in Canada. The flights that crashed were on their way to LA.

I wouldn't be surprised if international blood supplies are utilized as well, at least eventually. Go ahead and give.

Okay, i live 20 milse from NYC.
My dad works next to the world trade center.
he arrived late to work this day, and saw the explosion. He saw the explosion. His building is okay, but i don't belive what happened.
My friends dad is dead.
I can't belive
20,000+ dead.
i've never been so upset
How could aperson do this.
Another kid's parents are dead, both of them. A girl's father leaving boston on teh hijacked plane is dead.
I can't belive people could do this.
they have basically disabled the country's econmy and it smilitary base headquarters.
I'm so upset.
The skyline, something i can see all the way from home, is not the same. Billions, billions of dollars gone. tens of thousands dead. i'm so upset.
So many people dead.
So many.
I've never been so upset. I saw the smoke from outside my school. I saw live on t.v the buildings come down. A reporter and the camera men running for their lives.
I can't belive people i knew are dead. This has never happened.
Good bye. I just wanted to post this one.
I'm so upset. I'm don't belive it.

I'm signing out for now......I just can't stand this anymore. I feel that I keep hearing the cry of those victims on my ears. It's making my head aching..... a terrible one.
See you later KiD...

The thing that upset me more than the 'collateral' damage they are currently discussing on CNN was the silence...

Victims wondering down the street in shock, not screaming or crying, just walking. Then seeing the silent queues of blood donors collecting outside the hospitals in the midst of all the chaos.

This really brought it home to me, I cried for them. This kind of act (but never previously on this scale) unfortunately creates one of the few occasions where the masses come together.

This is the human nature I have faith in. Whatever their backgrounds, those guys were doing what they can to help. Be it giving blood or tending the wounded. Those emergency services will be working through the night. We have seen similar. They will work until they are useless...

God I feel useless... :(

Hopefully she was a later flight... :(

What is unfortunate is these victims will be statistics. They will be numbers too many to name...

My heart really goes out to these families... :( </STRONG>
I heard that there are some international flights, that have not come in yet.

Just leave it be, it is important.
If only I have been in the state to donate blood, especially when I have a rather rare bloodtype
They are mobilising units...call the number...if you can give that would be fantastic. :)

All of you others with common blood types are very important - if I could I would...

@Thorin - I am sorry...my thoughts go out to you all

@SS - thanks SS, you made me feel a lot more hopeful :)

Anyone familiar with Nostradamus? he predicted the following to happen 57 years after WW2

'In the city of God there will be a great thunder, two big brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb. The third big war will begin when the city is burning

- Nostradamus 1654

I feel exactly the same way Ysh. I don't cry very often, even when I want to, but I have cried off and on all morning since I got up this morning and started watching it.

I'm in Arizona, but this still has me scared. My parents are at the VA hospital(dad happened to have an appointment there today...) and a place like that, even though it is in Tuscon, Arizona could very easily be targetted by these kinds of Terrorist attacks. :( :( :(

According to one of the various newssites I have running currently, Osama bin Laden had warned the US 3 weeks ago, that he and his followers would launch an attakc of unseen proportion against the US.

Thorin, my deep condolences to you, your family and friends :( I don't really know what to say, words feel so cheap when something as disastrous as this happens. :( I'm glad your father is alive, anyway.

Yeah - mine to, but there is an awful long way from Denmark to US - especially now.
I don't think even blodplasma would be able to cross the border for the next couple of days.
I think they will redirect all blood inside the states to NY.
