I'd sooner be an elf, and have always liked them. And dragons.
Too late. :)

What Tom said . . . although I'm not piling on against the Mimics because I want to be a dwarf . . .

No, friends, I am convinced that my team, The Elementals, was bounced from this tournament as a result of collusion between the Mimics and the (blind) beholder ref, who I believe is French. Further, I believe that the investigation I have requested into this matter is being stonewalled by the Inter-Planar Shapechangers Union, which I find outrageous. As a result, as not only general manager of The Elementals, but as commissioner of the Multi-Dimensional Football League, I am immediately suspending all polymorphic creatures in the league and revoking their work visas for the Elemental planes until this investigation concludes (they should be glad this didn't happen in one of the Columbian leagues; they would have been gunned down in the streets of MedillĂn by now).

Go Dwarves!!!!!!!!

With patiance even his beard will rot away, And his children will grow old and die as well. Only we remain.

And let's face it, who wants to wield some great clumsy axe when you can be a master of both the long sword and long bow, both weapons of skill and finesse?

Thus fell the elven empire - they decide to viciously ignore their enemies.

Not at all, We are always guarding ourselfs against drows and other worthy foes. To be concerned by hobbit look-alikes however, are slightly below our dignity.

I would like to call it childish, And I wont lower myself to the dwarfs level. Litrary or figuratively.

I don't like dwarwes. I don't like elves. They are too boring and predictable. I like the Mimicks, they at least offer variation and change :D

Go Mimicks!

All-Star Team!

Before the FINAL results, FFIFA has created an All-Star Team based on individual perfomances, using a 4-4-2 formation: (the following individuals have all been forged from the creative minds of the following people & team) -

Forwards: Tiax (Kameleon's Black Gnomes)
Abazigal (Ode & Tamerlane's Dragons (+Golem))

Midfielders: Sparky (HighLordDave's Elementals)
Hairy One Leg (MY Werewolves)
Astafas (Astafas' one-man team)
Jansen Jansen (Kameleon's Black Gnomes)

Defenders: Stone Golem (Ned Flander's Golems)
Panto Mimic (Silur's Mimics)
Dwarven Flamethrower (Aegis's Dwarves)
Avariel Magician (Dottie's Winged Elves)

Goalkeeper: Thog (HighLordDave's Elementals)

Coach: Graven Rock-Eater (Aegis's Dwarves)

PS: Keep up the cheerin' & support...so far, from what I gather, the Dwarves have more support, which could always give an edge in the final result. Silur, you better plan a good strategy! On another note: I still need suggestions for the Winning Prize, what shall it be? ;)
@HLD: I promise you FFIFA is lookin' very closely into the referee business - on another hand, Ruthless Eye will no longer be used in the FINAL, but Chollina will - he's a bald Cyclops. We've also replaced the drow linesmen for ochre jelly linesmen - in this case they will not be able to see or lift a flag...so consequently..won't interrupt the game. :)
