Where is the proof??
I really need to go see it again soon...x-mas gets in the way hehe.
I too loved the balrog fighting scene. Taking down that balrog just shows how powerful Gandalf really is. I thought the Balrog looked really cool too... not so cool outdoors but anyway.

Hehe...well Ill see if I can scan it...It was meant to be a joke...What my dad got a year ago was some crappy Warner Brothers Cartoon of the trilogy of LotR. However, my scanner is on the fritz, and I couldnt scan the picture properly.

I have never even seen the series, because the cartoon looks like a joke.

I was hoping the scanning worked, and we all could have a laugh at the crappiness of the cartoon compared to Jackson's masterpiece....but my scanner disobeyed..... :(

Ill try it again shortly.

I remember watching a cartoon version some ten years ago, I thought that was pretty good then...should perhaps see it again. I think more than one cartoon version has been made...

I have no idea. All I know is, looking at the cover of these video tapes....its just hilarious to compare Jackson's with Warner Bros. cartoons. :D

Thanks for the welcome guys. All the shows were sold out so I'm gonna have to wait for the late show...oh well. Just a quick question, instead of losing my sanity, can I just stuff it in my closet everytime I post here? I kinda need it...I'm savin it so I can lose it around exam time. And by the by I remember those cartoon versions. I thought they were ok but that's cuz I was 8. Now that I compare them with Peter Jacksons version...well needless to say I only watch one version now.

I think that's the Bakshi one (get your details in order, man!) :p

@Annatar, I like your handle. :) The alias (meaning 'Lord of Gifts') that Sauron used with the Elves of Eregion, if I'm not mistaken.

Thank you
This is true Annatar meaning "giver/lord of gifts". Sauron did use it with the elves when he gave them 3 harmless rings. We all know the rest of that.

You either watch the movie (for lines from the script) or read the book (if you want the original). I just happen to have a fairly good memory. :)

Ask and you shall receive. Image Here's all the Helms Deep Elvish dialogue between Aragorn and Legolas. I think number three is the one you're looking for.

1. Legolas: Le ab-dollen (You're late).

2. Aragorn: Hannon le (Thank you).

3. Legolas: Boe a hûn: neled herain dan caer menig (And they should be... Three hundred against ten thousand).
Aragorn: Si beriathar hýn. Amar nâ ned Edoras (They have more hope of defending themselves here than at Edoras).
Legolas: Aragorn, men i ndagor. Hýn ú-... ortheri. Natha daged aen (We are warriors. They cannot win this fight. They are all going to die).

4. Aragorn: Ú-moe edhored, Legolas (There is nothing to forgive, Legolas).

Hrm.....I have a couple questions.....
1-Can you pronounce all that?
2-Have you studied Elven languages or something?
3-Are there more words you know of the language?
4-If yes to the last 3 questions: How much free time do you have on your hands....because thats just sad. :D
