This is going just too fast. I might have to take a day off to catch up on all this. Even then, chances are there will be another ten posts by the time I finished reading the first twenty. :p

I suppose it's a good thing I put off writing more for a while just for that reason then. :p I had enough free time earlier I could have tossed quite a few posts that would have filled the character requirement. :o

Hmm... I know it's rather late, but would you mind awfully if I interjected in your story? :confused:

Oh come on, you know you'd love a gaggle of midgets following you around. Admit it! :p

A lecherous monk, a gaggle of midgets, and a druid-mage-fighter with more combat history than Napoleon- only at GB! :D

lmao! :D
Just remember though... midgets will have to be careful if Tashara is shapechanged, if instincts have taken over they might just as easily be perceived as dinner.. :p ;)

@Cuch,
ROFL :D What can I say? I began writing in the DF when I first joined GB 4 years ago.. makes for a lot fighting time :p

@ Giles,
basically, just read the story so far, and skim through this discussion thread. The idea is essentially to have fun, so lots of focus on story and character history/personality, less emphasis on stats, classes etc. ;)

@Mag,
Any lecherous midgets would seriously regret any missteps, of that I can assure you :p :D

OK, No problem. One thing I'm confused about is character interaction... The posts are on the long sides, do we write interaction with other peoples characters ourselves, or wait for them to post? Edit: Just read Aqua-Chan's post about people eventually meeting each other. So we're just on basically, background fluff now, before we start interacting?

*nods* Cuch and I have sort of teamed up to bring together the thread a bit, at least we'll be together even if everyone still is seperated. :p Feel free to join up with us, or wherever you feel you want to start out at I suppose. :)

Pretty much, yes, we are still in the prelude phase of people eventually hooking up. My character, for example, is presently en route to an area just within the Amn border, and from there she will head to Windhaven which I believe is somewhere in the Northwest mountain region towards the Spine of the World. (though Windhaven itself is actually a Bloodstalker-created town)

The action takes place in Faerun, or a loosely based version anyway, which you'll be familiar with if you've played any of the Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale games. If you aren't, there are lots of maps, informational sites etc. out there ;)

Essentially, it is fairly spontaneous and organic in terms of interaction and posting, and we all respond to the various posts, taking things from there.
There will, undoubtedly be some planning in terms of plot, as well as people working together to write a particular scene or section. But, we also want to stay away from anything to ridgidly fixed or inflexible.

*growls menacingly* :p

I think that rather depends. I do warn anyone in advance, however. Tashara can be quite hot tempered, and it is when she has less control over emotions and such... she is prone to surges of wild magic.
This can have some very unfortunate effects on the target... especially when she casts "Polymorph Other." :p

Fas, Mag and I are the vertically challenged ones ;)
I sincerely wish we could re-consider this plan from a perspective that involved pants.
