OK, I'm back and did one, hopefully last edit. My post now reads as this: (there are no comments in the story thread though)
K'Lethya cursed as she saw her commando fall apart, the drow scrambling to get out of the cattle's way, herself barely escaping an oncoming bull. Jumping to the side, the lean Drow priestess quickly turned the ring on her finger (=ring of invisibility, three uses per day) and vanished. She scowled as she saw the drow (=those that didn't get out of the way fast enough, fighters I'd say) being crushed under the stampede, then barked out orders right and left, moving forward to see who caused the stampede.
(K'Lethya: drow priestess, of Lolth?, commander of the troup, moving aroung invisible, giving orders, not launching any spells, in any case not in my post, because that would make her invisibility drop.)
She quickly directed some of the warriors (as many as you need to have fun) against the skeleton warriors, seemingly the most immediate thread. A look to the rear told her that a few of her lieutnants, actually two mages, (=the two mages at the rear)were already taking care of the troublemaker back there. Suddenly, she was startled to see two men (Nippy and BS)in their middle, seemingly having appeared out of nothing. The cattle! They must have been riding on the cattle! Just as she thought this, already the first drow went down under their onslaught. Infuriated, she directed spells fired at them... a little chain lightning would do good against that shining paladin type, she directed the mage closest to her, about halfway between rear guard and front, to take care of that. (=the mage in the middle)
Overviewing the scene, she continued barking orders, keeping moving so her position would not be revealed. The other two priestesses (two priestesses, no others) travelling with her began incantations, one mass heal, the other protection from good. Next, K'Lethya sent one of two invisible assassins (her personal guard, actually there for her own protection) against the Hakeashar trying to reach the mages (front or back), then shouted at one at the back to quickly bring up some true sight along with his other protections. (=one of the mages battling Ned) Moving forwards, she told one of the two mages up front to fire a death spell off, to get rid of all those annoying critters. One or more fire balls down the corridor wouldn't hurt either, she decided, and called for the second mage at the front to move a bit get further out. (= the two mages up front)
Reaching the front, she squinted down the corridor, but could not yet see anybody, then turned back and cursed again as she saw a figure (=Symbul's simulacrum) shooting off magic missiles at her rear guard. Shouting out orders, she ran back where she came from, not noting how Ysh dispelled her mages (= the two at the front, one trying to complete a fireball, but not succeeding, the other one just managing to get off the death spell) invisibility and caught them in insects.
As K'Lethya was halfway back to the rear, the death spell was completed, just before the mage (=one of the two up front) that had cast it was wrapped in the insect cloud, and K'lethya grinned as she saw the lot of critters drop the ground (she's unaware of what happened behind her), only one or two stalkers on the outskirts of battle remaining standing. At the same time, a true sight by one of the mages at the back (=still battling Ned) also revealed Symbul's simulacrum (=it disappeared) and K'lethya approved how that mage had found the time for it, while bringing up his own protections and battling the intruder (=Ned) at the back. At this, the drow commander turned once again to the front, only to see her strategy unravelling once more at the front.. (=she sees what Ysh has been doing to her mages up front)
So:
1. mage up front: tries to cast fireball, gets caught by Ysh's insect swarm
2.mage up front: casts Death Spell, kills all of the summoned critters except a few stalkers, maybe the Hakeashar (don't know if it's concerned by this spell), then gets caught just after completion by Ysh's insects.
1. mage at the back: does nothing else than attacking Ned
2. mage at the back: attacks Ned, manages to pull of True Sight simultaneously with 2. mage up front
Mage in the middle: casts Chain Lightning at Nippy (later attacked by him in Nippy's post)
1. assassin: attacks Hakeashar to protect mages from it
2. assassin: no action, probably follows K'Lethya around
1. priestess, middle: casts Mass Heal, not yet completed
2. priestess, middle : casts protection from good as Nippy definitely looks good aligned

, not yet completed either
3. priestess = K'Lethya: invisible, moves around trying to organise their defenses
Warriors: as many as you want.
I think this should work now. I really hope so
I've also got another idea, perhaps you'll like it:
These drow (I mean those we face just now) actually follow Lolth and have been sent to investigate. In fact, a group of drow has allied themselves with the Shadow Master, with the approval of the priestesses of Lolth, who thought that they could take a profit of it.
Now, the situation has changed. Some of those following Lolth no longer see any advantage, actually fearing that some of the drow helping the SM, mostly male ones, have fallen off from Lolth and now towards Moander and the SM. Other followers of Lolth don't see any cause for concern. Opposing those, K'Lethya's superior had sent her with the group we meet to investigate.
Whatever happens, K'Lethya is to find out the truth and get back to her superior, whatever the cost. The two assassins she has got with her are for her own protection against the SM, and might even have been used against him, but he was judged to be too strong.
K'Lethya found out that the fears of the Lolth followers were justified, (namely the drow allied with the SM have fallen off from Lolth) and is now trying to hide the fact that she knows this from the SM. She was about to leave his lair to repost to her superior when they stumbled over us.
If she gets back, there'll be soon drow sent against the SM. If she gets not back, her superiors will have no prove that the SM has played them foul and killed the investigators, above all because he may make it look like and accident. Another group would then have to be sent to investigate.
*whew*
