Well, I was being given dancing lessons in the rain. The whole wet dress thing was a terrible distraction. It wasn't planned, just a spontaneous "hey, this sounds fun" type thing. Why my ex wanted to teach me in the rain was another matter entirely.

Sadly, I've only gotten my hands on a bottle of Absentè, someone passed it off as Absynthe, and it's just the knock off stuff that's legal in the US people are selling to us now. Still had a strong kick to it, and I have to say, once I got over the taste, it was the best kind of drunk I've ever had. It was a definate erm, "upper" type of drunk.

Have you been dabbling with it lately? I could order a bottle. In order to do a good bottle, of the liter size however, I'm looking at dropping close to $150-$200 after shipping and handling though. It won't be happening anytime soon. Not to mention, it being considered a "drug" here.

What IS absynthe?

It's a liquor made from wormwood Plus all sorts of other little ingredients (including chlorophyll to give it it's green pigment).

It was popular in France a century or so back, as being a creativity enhancer and an aphrodisiac. Alot of rumours drift around though, but it is related to marajuana in that wormwood contains a chemical similar to THC (the active chemical in marajuana). Originally made contraband since supposedly long term consumption lead to psychosis and hallucinations etc

The real breed is a very potent drink, gets most folks trollied in a few shots. Also has the unique bonus of crystalizing in your stomach, so when you wake up hungover the next day and reach for a glass of water, it liquifies and sends you drunk all over again

@Mag I tried a wee bit a few nights back. A different type of drunk, certainly an experiance. I think it's a legal grey area over here. Still has to be imported however, at a good £50 for a small bottle of a standard blend. I was thinking of investing in a bottle to while away a night or few.

I am in need of advice. My roommates are erm, doing "it" wrong. Someone ended up hurt and commented on it to me tonight. Do I teach them the right way, or keep myself out of it?

How are they doing "it" wrong? Totally depends on the situation, but I mean, if it seems so obvious that Ravager could figure it out... how could they do it wrong?? Is that even possible?

*glares at hill* I should be asleep. I've been trying to sleep. Midnight came along, people came over, I was still trying to sleep. Drunk came, mugged me, and stole Sober! Said I'd get it back tomorrow. So, hopefully he's back before work...and sleep should come too. Then, maybe tuesday, I think I don't work tuesday? Maybe tuesday I'll do the gauntlet.
