Well you live too far away, so that seems logical.

All I get is a full day of University and freezing temperatures. And a wind strong enough to blow over construction fences and almost knock people down. Or so I was told.
Fighting the wind after going around a corner like walking forward in a wind tunnel. :D

@ Ravager. Hi Rav. We had a beautiful day today, only cold but bright and sparkly and still

@ Chu. Only baked steak and doughnuts? Why so deprived? Is that deprived?

@ Lestat. No that's not what the word means

Heh. Since when was Wikipedia good authority? :p
It's such a fowl meaning encyclopedia...

@Fiona, no snow up there yet? :p
Pretty much the same here, except there was some rain and the wind of course.
Oh, did that machine building thing today. Our group got 100%. :D
That goes to part of the final mark.

Nah, 188 is a bit much for me in a few hours. Yep, even I can't manage that.
Let's focus on getting you to 2,000, eh? :D
Thanks for the congrats, btw. :)

That could happen. I have a lurking suspicion you are all a bad influence on me :speech: BTW you could have made that three posts. And you could give yourself a dispensation about double posting, if you're going for the record :mischief:

That bugger couldnt get 10000 if he tried :D
Its thanksgiving here.
If your ancestors (king er . . . george I think?) woudnt have been such idiots you guys can have some to! :D ;)

@Fiona, do I have the authority to do that (as a respected member of the SF)?

@chu, why would we celebrate Indians giving colonials (as it would be) food? We'd much rather celebrate with tea and scones at any opportunity. Hmm, which to do first, sip on the tea or nibble at the scone? :D ;)

As for the 10000 it's not a question of 'if I get it, rather 'when I get it'. :p ;)

What has King George got to do with Thanksgiving

@ Rav. You're a founder. You can if you want. Maybe you'd feel it was cheating, though. Consult your conscience

One of the King George's (can't remember which) was on the throne during the time America declared independence, because of the straw that broke the camel's back, I believe?
Which would be why the seperation in traditional events. The main reason anyway.
@ Rav. You're a founder. You can if you want. Maybe you'd feel it was cheating, though. Consult your conscience
*waits for chu to dispute the founder part* ;)
Tsk. Now you think I have a conscience? HAH!

Would I be right in thinking that the US gained independence from the UK before the invention of the soft boiled egg?

@ Chu Hey, that's my line:angry:
