Not what I meant. I meant informing a girl that you will not buy THEM a drink, when they assume you will, because you are a guy, and they are cute.

Bah, any girl I have interest in picking up has to go through a good deal of stuff. First of all, rarely do I even initiate anything with a girl. If they don't have the nerve to come to me, chances are they won't have the nerve to be honest and tell me what they want. Not only that, I won't shell out cash to get a girl. I'll buy my friends dinner and drinks, but a date? Not until we've been dating for some time. Bad mojo there, lots of greedy leeches in skirts out there.

No. I've had two girls sit with my friend and I, order a round of shots from the waitress, and wait for us to pay for them after they'd drank theirs.

That's...oh, I'd get tossed out of the bar if that happened to me. I would not be nice to people like that. :laugh: I have no shame, if some girl thinks I'll buy her drinks, I'll make sure everyone in the bar knows, and what I'd expect of her for buying them too.

My friend is a desperate guy. It sucked.
I'm going to try to get a refund on/scalp my tickets now. The bar is at least just up the street. If I can't get a refund, I'll probably be staying for a beer or seven. I'll either be back in a half hour or a couple hours. Ciao.
