Hello Fiona! :)
It just stopped working. It had power and lights but the Internet wouldn't work. I think it's just something to do with how busy it is at the time, can't do anything about it, just wait for it to work again.

Do you have DSL Rav? That same stuff used to happen to me all the time when I had it, cable is a heckuva lot more stable  .

Not too much. After I left I did some work on my Multimedia coursework (the animation), made some fancy buttons for that. Maybe I'll upload it here sometime, see if anyone can provide me inspiration. :D
Also I watched a DVD (Stargate- I like that stuff) and played a couple of games.
Nothing too exciting really. But good enough.
How about you? What have you been up to?

@Tony, hi. Everyone's turning up now. :p
As far as I know DSL is 100 times (or more) faster. Broadband is just a 1Mb connection. Or mine is anyway.

Ravvy, you are nuts. What is this need to drive all the way up to 10,000. :p

Geez, the British and the need for something to be big... ;) :D

Rav, make a wish and three people show up! Lucky you!

Isn't it expected of me? :p

I think this must be a unique situation. It never normally works. :D

@Fiona, tsk, what if I changed my mind and went to Glasgow and there were no tickets left? :( ;)

Ack you're right, my stupid mistake... The quinine's still in my system apparently  :D ...

I've been here for awhile but I've been trying to cut down on my desire to jump in on every conversation I see, and Madden's been keping me busy :D .

I have a hankering what the tickets are for, Fiona... :D

No, don't get Tony started on Madeen, or he will go on about the dumb subject for an hour.... ;) :D

@ Rav: You have me there. We don't expect much at all. ;)

Heh. Lucky you. ;)
I can never find a Broadband option on some websites where it asked, once I had to choose DSL having no idea what it was but knowing Broadband was faster than a 56K modem....

Why? Join in. Especially if it's quiet. I was getting very bored before. :o
Madden. That's Ice Hockey?

@Fiona, I was under the impression that it was some sort of city-wide and at least partly open-air thing. Think I've ever seen a reference to that festival on the news before.

Ravvy, are you nuts? Scotsmen at the time may have been able to dance in kilts in January, but no longer.

I see you are hyper over the Celtic Connections festival... ;)

Fine, fine. It's not open-air.
Heard of stadiums as venues? :p ;)

@Hill, *gasp* Did you read back?! Tsk, nasty habit! ;)

Let's do some reading up on the Celtic Connectionsfestival, eh? :p
Yes. Have you been to it?
A while ago when I visited England I may have been able to stop by and see, but our trip schedule didn't have time for it, so we never bought tickets. Unfortunate, but sometime next year I may be able to stop by and watch, if I can get a trip ready early enough to see Scotland in it's entirety.

Hey, hey, I know, but we want to annoy Ravvy, eh?

Besides, how do we know, few scotsmen actually wonder around totally free under their kilts... and by golly, I'm not looking. :p

Madden? I'll give you the short version, is an American Football video game, the title coming from the game's completely inept announcer John Madden (it originated as "John Madden's Football", now being simply "Madden NFL '06").

This festival sounds interesting, have fun :) .

@ Rav: This is it's thirteenth year. ;)

Wow, a madden player actually held back. Here I was, expecting some long winded story on how he made an amazing play in the game...

Sorry, I have other friends who play with that game too much... :o

Hill, you have my sympathy for your poor sense of priorities :p Loads of Canadians come for this festival. Cape Breton is a major centre for the music
