Nope, they would be different, although sopme of there charistics would be the same. Life choics make up a person, experience, not just genes.

I figured....so Hill can we successfully clone someone...and if so why would we...I mean as a genetics person Hill,you know scientificly why would we need to? Now as a average person why would we?

The need? No... we don't have the need. Are we capable... well, consider what we have cloned so far, basic mammals (like ourselves) from rats, to sheep, to dogs.

Besides, I think that it is immoral in many ways, although perhaps it will have some purposes in the future. What we want now is to be able to 'control' genes in a sense, so that we can keep the best (or at least not the crap, as full manipulation would kind of make us all the perfect image of someone's perfect, which would make the entire mother father chromione sequence pretty much useless) and loose the rest. The stuff that could potentially lead to disease, or is undesirable in humans.

Well I dont think I could of put it a better way..I think it is immoral, I dont see a need to clone someone, but that whole think about getting the best of it would be nice.That whole stemcell thing was for what again or cold you briefly describe the reason they where pushing that. Oh and that commit that chu made, I heard something about that, on how we could use or clones organs or blood assuming that the body would not reject it because well it was a clone. I disagree however, and I would hate for that kind of thing to happen...ofcourse I only heard it and cant confirm it.
