I missed Kitten not once, but twice today. Bah. Oh, I read your reply from last night Tony. So what? You'd be surprised how well that "big brother" thing has worked out for me. :p

I saw my step-fathers side of the family for the first time in years. His niece was Miss Teen New York, in some category, and went off to Minnesota a few years ago (can't recall which year or category), but lost the whole USA division. I remember when she was a pudgy, nergy little 13 year old with huge glasses and being horribly shy. BOY did she grow up! :speech: It's been years since I've seen her, and she's in college now. All through brunch with her across from me I had the whole torment of the "cousin" and "step-cousin" thing tumbling through my head.

 It wouldn't bother me if I caught up with my famous distant cousin. This one isn't a blood relative though! Meh, I was in shock, I mean I saw her pictures from her prom, and the pictures her mother took when she won the Miss Teen New York deal, but...those are just pictures. It's different seeing the person right in front of you. The girl came a long way from the last time I saw her in person. I was surrounded by her uncles and father though, so, bad things. :(

No, the father is ex-army though. Bad things! Oh man, things would SO go downhill at family events if I nailed my step-cousin.

Not all Irish people drink Guiness, or beer. Or whiskey. ;)
