Order of the Dark Flame: The Adventures Continue (no spam-story)
T’lainya looked around the cavern dreamily. She heard Dp call her name. She looked back at the waterfall one last time and went to see what he had found. She looked at the earrings holding them up to the light. They were made of gold, wrought into curving flowers, the bell of each holding a small green stone. Her fingers tingled slightly as she inspected them. “Who do you think these belonged to?” T turned to ask Dp. “And who built this wonderful room?”

Thantor found Anicka's room and knocked softly on the door. He was about to turn away when he heard a sleepy voice telling him to enter. Anicka's face lit up when she saw Thantor and she sat up in her bed. "I was hoping that it was you," she said smiling. "I heard you made quite an exit from the Shadow Master's dungeon."
Thantor chuckled, sitting down on her bed. "Only to be upstaged by a flock of very possessive sheep, so it seems," Thantor said with a grin, wanting to keep the mood light. Anicka laughed. "Your companions are quite unconventional. I hope they are not put out at having to take care of me." I don't know if unconventional would cover it, thought Thantor ruefully. As for putting out, Thantor made a mental note to keep Anicka at a safe distance from Vivien and Dragon Wench.
"They are quite generous people who enjoy the company of intelligent, vivacious people like yourself," Thantor reassured her. "I'm sure you are most welcome here." He noticed the troubled look on her face as he said this and knew what she was thinking, what any commander would be thinking. "We will find a way to rescue your men. If I have to go with you alone, I pledge to you that I will do that." A look of intense relief and gratitude swept uncross Anicka's face. She reached out and gave Thantor a long, sincere hug while she fought to control her emotions. Disengaging himself, Thantor smiled at her. "You rest now. We will talk again in the morning." With that, Thantor headed back to his room.

Those who will play with kitties must expect to be scratched.
Many are cold; few are frozen.
Absence is to love what wind is to fire... it extinguishes the small, it enkindles the great.

"I don't know, maybe Ria'ya does." Answered Darkpoet. Together they moved to the waterfall, following the walkway behind it. The intricate carvings of animals, on the stonewalls were in full detail. The carvings were inlaid with presious stones and gold. As they walked behind the waterfall, Darkpoet look though the falls, into the room. He was tempted to push T'lainya into the water. When he looked at her, he could tell she was thinking the samething.
Noticing a hallway behind T'lainya, he lit a lamp on the pedestal. He saw lamps on both sides of the hallway, the two of them, lit them as they walked along. The artwork on the walls, were both Elvin and Human. The artwork, was incredible, each one was it's own interpretation. A door, ended the journey through the hallway. Darkpoet turned the handle, he pushed the door open with his sword.
As he moved forward, they both heard a click. Like a vaccum, the room in front of them, start to strongly pull the air through the hallway. Darkpoet Grabbed T'lainya, pushing her into a corner, covering her with his body. Water was sucked into the room, then it got windy. It stopped just as sudden as it started. The both of them were soak to the skin, Darkpoet noticed that everything was spotless. The dirt and cobwebs, were gone, the hallway was clean. The artwork on the walls, was vivid.
T'lainya was trying to wring out her clothes. As Darkpoet walked into the room, T'lainya started to grumble.
"Damn it, you know how long this is going to take to dry? We have to go back, so I can change. Where in the nine hells did you go? Darkpoet??"
T'lainya didn't hear any comments from Darkpoet. This worried her, because he always had a comment about her grumbling. Walking into the room, she then knew why he, hadn't said anything. The large room was breath taking, a huge fire place was at one end of the room, with a roaring fire. Overstuffed leather furniture filled the middle of the room. Bookshelves, towered to the ceiling on one side. Armor and weapons, from all cultures, framed the other side. T'lainya, finally found Darkpoet. He was in a bearskin robe, sitting in a overstuffed leather couch, next to the fire, smiling.
He held up a robe like his.
"When you are finished grumbling. Why don't you come over by the fire, to dry off? You can put your clothes next to mine, so they will dry. I have a robe for you also, that's if you want it?"
Darkpoet raised a wineglass, looking devilish.
"You wouldn't believe, the selection of Elvin wines. Care for a glass?"

Kramor left Loner in their room. She hadn't been feeling well and wanted to lay down. Every morning, Loner was waking up not feeling well, this was bothering her. Kramor was glad that they had gotten secretly married. Only Dp and T'lainya knew of this. Kramor felt really good, he was going to be a father.
Walking down the hallway, towards Dp's room. He had to ask Dp about, what to do with Anomen. Kramor was also worried about Thantor, he wasn't himself, since he returned. As Kramor, knocked on Dp's door. He heard a strange rushing noise, as he opened the door, a torrent of air and water. Blew though the door, it took all his strength to hold on to the door. The torrent lasted twenty seconds, Kramor could hear it going from room to room, he couldn't believe how clean everything was. Kramor ran to their room, to check on Loner. When he looked in, she was sleeping peaceful, what ever it was it didn't bother her. Kramor went back to Dp's room, looking in he didn't see him. Just a clean room, as he turned to leave, he noticed T'lainya's pack and armor. Kramor just smiled.
Meanwhile down stairs in Gwally's room. The intanglement of the three, was interrupted, by the rushing of water and air. It swirled around the room, lifting the three, then dumping them into a wet pile out in the courtyard.
The Keep was fully clean, everywhere......

T’lainya stared at Darkpoet for a moment and then smiled. “How did you get changed so quickly? She turned in a circle, slowly surveying the scene, her wet hair and clothes momentarily forgotten. T’lainya stood by Darkpoet tilting her head to look up at the carvings on the ceiling.
“Hey!” Darkpoet protested as T’lainyas wet hair dripped all over him.
“Sorry.” She said innocently. “Maybe I will have a glass of wine.” T deftly took the robe from Darkpoets hand and changed as he poured the wine. She wrung some of the excess water from her hair and sat next to Darkpoet. Leaning against him she thought for a minute. “I wonder how many other secrets this place holds. Every time we search we find some new and unexpected thing.” She paused to glance over the room again. “These displays cover a rather long time period. There are so many cultures..I see things from the fallen Netheril empire, elvish work from Myth Drannor, dwarven stonework.
Darkpoet put his arm around her, looking around. “Maybe we should do a better exploration of this place. Not right now though. I don’t know if I want to get soaked again. At least not like that.” Darkpoet had a devilish smile as he thought of the waterfall and pool.
T’lainya caught the look and returned it. “I agree, no more baths in cold water." She snuggled intothe curve of his arm. "Hmm I wonder where all that water went rushing off to?”

"What the.....!"
Vivien, Gwalchmai and Dragon Wench had been relaxing with mead and music after the bewildering experience of seeing five sheep bring down a group of club-waving ogres, when suddenly a rush of water had deposited them in the courtyard. Strangely, the feather bikinis were dry and intact, Dragon Wench wondered if they were enchanted in any way.
******************
"I'll bet Dark Poet had something to do with this," grumbled Gwalchmai, pulling a mysterious-looking, sodden scroll out of his tunic. Vivien nodded, and looked around for the warrior sheep, hoping to tame them.
******************
Standing up, Dragon Wench noted that the sun was edging away from the horizon, a crimson orb unpeeling from its earthen slumber. The coutyard, bathed in gold, glimmered. Swirling eddies of water, a thousand crystal sparks irridiscent, refracted the honeyed light. Yet, something made Dragon Wench shiver, despite the radience of the morning, shadows still skulked, crouching in recesses, waiting to pounce.

Darkpoet gently kissed T'lainya's forehead.
"I would guess, back out through the Keep. I have heard of cleaning spells, this one must be automatic. We set it off, when the door was opened. Well everyone should be nice and clean then."
He runs his fingers, through T'lainya's hair, gently caressing, her face and neck. Darkpoet dips his finger in his wine, he traces T'lainya's lips, slowly kissing her and making sure that no wine is left. T'lainya smiles, caressing Darkpoet's face, she looks down at the clothes.
"I think, that the clothes need to dry more, don't you?" she purrs.

Vivien sat amidst the sheep, entwining flowers in their wooly coats. She occasionally cooed at them, but they didn't seem to mind. After she had fed them the tastiest of flowers, they then sat around looking at her with doe eyes. For some reason (
) she felt a bit tired, not knowing why, so she lay her head on one woolly side and stared at the sky above with sleepy eyes.

Gwalchmai looked at the scroll in his hand and wondered how it had managed to make its way into his tunic. It must have been carried by the flood of wind and water. He had discussed it with Dragon Wench and Vivien, and they thought it best to examine the scroll at another time. Gwalchmai had felt an urgency to explore the origins of the wave of water that had swept through the keep, but Vivien pointed out that no one appeared perturbed, and nothing seemed disturbed.
Following a whim, as Gwalchmai changed into a dry tunic and pants, he also packed up his leather armor and bracers, and hefted his sturdy staff. He then went to the kitchen to pack some rations. He heard voices in the dining area, and found Anomen talking with Dragon Wench and Anika. “Sure, you can borrow a horse, Anomen,” Dragon Wench was saying, “but you’re welcome to stay here with us.”
“Good Sir Knight,” Anika interjected, wincing as she limped around the table to the knight, “I know you must have urgent business elsewhere, and I wish to thank you for the aid you gave when my troop was first attacked. But I had hoped that you would stay with us to help rescue my fellows.”
“Alas, my Lady, I feel that I should not.” Anomen slowly stood and attempted a smile, though the left side of his face did not move as much as it should have, and his left eye would not open all the way, “I fear that I have many happy memories of my times with these, uh.. Dark Flames; memories that have been soured by my own actions. If I were to remain, I would be distracted, and I fear I would also be a distraction. I must make my way back to the Order, and see if I can reclaim even one jot of my honor.”
Dragon Wench understood, and placed a hand on Anomen’s shoulder. Gwalchmai handed Anomen his spare set of leather armor and said, “I would accompany you, Anomen. I think, despite past events, no one here would want to hear that you had come to harm by traveling alone again.”
Dragon Wench looked at Gwalchmai, “But, Gwally! We’ll need you when we go to rescue Anika’s troops!”
Gwalchmai embraced Dragon Wench as Anomen’s eybrow shot up, “This trip should only take a day or two, and you guys need to give Anika and Thantor time to heal. Have you really looked at Thantor? His eye is bloodshot, bulging, and seems to wander of its own accord. There must be preparations made. I’ll be back before you go, and if not, I’m sure you’ll leave a path open for me to follow. Give my best to Vivien, Georgi, and the others. I’ll be back as quickly as possible.”
Anomen straighten to his full height, straining the fabric on the tunic he had borrowed from the smaller Kramor, “Anika, you need not worry. These Dark Flames are more than able to rescue your troops,” he looked at Dragon Wench, “I am pleased at the progress that this ill-conceived group has made -- I did not think such a thing was possible.”
Thus, in the early morning frost, two riders made their way from the keep.

Darkpoets smile was devilish. “I agree, I wouldn’t want either of us to catch cold.”
T’lainya touched one finger gently to Darkpoets mouth. She looked into his eyes, green meeting his dark lashed blue, no words were needed.
Some time later, T’lainya asked Darkpoet whether they should check on the others. “Perhaps they could use some magical healing.”
Darkpoet smiled. "I think the clothes are probably dry by now. Let's check."

As they left the room, Darkpoet decided to leave the door open. Walking back under the waterfall, T'lainya stopped to look at the earrings.
"Do those look familar to you? I just can't put may finger on it."
"What other than, that they would look really go on you?"
Tlainya frowned. "No, I'm serious. I have seen that design before."
Darkpoet took a closer look. "Hmmm, what did you do with the necklace, I took off the wraith?"
"It's upstairs in my pack. I'll go get it."
T'lainya ran up the stairs, as she found the necklace. She happened to look out the window, T'lainya saw her cousin. Smiling, she yelled down to Darkpoet, as he ran up the stairs, T'lainya told him who was coming. Darkpoet grinned, "You want to get back at your cousin??"

Nippy left Hitomi in a bed to rest. He was worried about him. He had not woken up since he yesterday, Nippy sensed a deep enchantment in him.
He went downstairs and met Dragon Wench and the others.
"It seems we have not met in a long while friends. I hope that you have all been well these past days. My training was very succesful and I have harnesses more power in the ways of the ancients. I hope that I may be of some use to you in the future good friends."
